I used to hear that song after a Bengals TD back in the Kenny Anderson era - boy is that song OLD! I think Paul Brown wrote that song. But, I still LOVE IT! Ha!

To correct an earlier post, this song was written by George "Red" Bird. Paul Brown hired him as the entertainment director. Brown met Bird when he was Coaching at Massillon Washington High School and Bird created the Massillon Tiger Swing Band and wrote the version of "Tiger Rag" that Massillon uses as their fight song. Bird included the signature "Tiger Growls" from Massillon with the tuba in this song. Massillon's band inspired Brown to try to incorporate the concept in Cleveland and Cincy
