The Ted hoes are still wrinkled up on top, in the exam you will automatically fail if you are left with ANY wrinkles or twists, this is what I was told.

there's still wrinkles below the knew area. Plus it would be way easier to just put her whole arm into the sock and pinching the heel part of the sock to locate where its at then removing the sock out while holding on to the pinch part. Rather then flipping the socks back and forth from each arm.

Be nice to see someone putting them onto themselves the correct way as often patients are told to do it themselves without any instructions onto how. I nearly blew a gasket trying to mine on ... lol.

She put on the ted hose very well but I can tell you as someone who actually wears compression socks every day and has worn them for the last 20 years that those wrinkles she left at the top of the calf would be very bothersome and could even possibly impede blood flow. They need to be smooth from toe to calf 100%.

That was way too rough and no one explained anything. you have to make sure the heel is where it is supposed to be positioned and that there are no wrinkles. Make sure that you dont over extend the limb either.

now now now girls..she did a good job except she should have explaned at the end that u check the ted hose to make sure it's wrinkle free! still she did a good job.. but then who am I? just a 9 yr nurse aide opioins are like assholes and we all have one rite! Im not being a smart ass im just being real..

Looks easy but if you are putting on a resident that is in pain all the time (or the ones that has dementia), you have to talk to them, explaining them what you are doing so they don't get scared.

Actually if you could write it on the side it would be to great help. I have never seen anyone put on TEDS so smoothly as you once you started.
