  • wow that guy got very excited. "Come on!!!!!" when he won the point on the municipal court.

  • @Doggieman1111 That's what i love abt tennis, even if you are a noob, you think you're Federer on some shots lol

  • these guys 3.0 close 3.5

  • @pacomura70 we're going to play 3.0 league in your section and win nationals :D

  • @pacomura70 That's the problem with the NTRP rating system. I play a high 3.5 in Alabama (almost win over all 3.5s in my club, and now playing with 4.0 guys), i went to Florida for a 3.5 tournament, the guys there ate me alive!!!. So it depends where you are, a 3.5 in CA might be a 4.5 in Alabama and vice-versa.

  • @benmoro so bogus

  • Oh gawd i consider myself a 4.0 and i dont think these guys live up to their titles as '4.5'

  • Not 4.5 at all..

  • these guys are not 4.5!!! serve has no pace!!! one guy can't even do an overhead!!! i say they are 3.0-3.5.

  • @squaziel what's your rating? i bet it's 3.0

  • Man what happened to your serve your serve was like 90mph now its like 25

  • @KN10SKILLED hehehe the MORE i play, the faster it gets... sometimes i got vids where i didn't play for like two weeks

  • Ew

  • @kkct7 why

  • I consider myself a good 3.0 or low level 3.5 and I could certainly hang with these guys. "Cmon" has better overall game than the other guy. If I played them 10 times I might lose 6 but it would probably not be a blowout. I would say these guys are 4.0 or really good 3.5 based on what I have seen from others.

  • COME ON!!!!!

  • @pcars yep!

  • i didn t mean it ......hey thanks man , at least i can see my progress. still it hurts ha ha (my eyes)

  • yep they do . i give their lives purpose . especially the 100 pound 3.0 from hawai.......

  • when will u take of this shuit vid . my " come ons " are embarrassing ha ha ha (i just can t help my self . i need this inner pump comeeeeeee onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn lol

  • @Icecerific people love you and your vids bro. come on!

  • sukhumvit soi 50?

  • @loren10197 is this loren who's peter's friend? yes

  • @hi10spro no i dont know peter

  • Is that in bangkok?

  • @loren10197 yes. yes it is

  • The guy in white is so chill :D

  • @theboyz7 he's swedish

  • I'll say this though... the reason why they don't look 4.5 is because norcal is tougher ntrp wise. They'd be solid 4.0's here. But perhaps 4.5's there.

  • @XanderinTennis i didn't believe any of this, until I just ran into a 4.5 from Baltimore who just moved up from 4.0... and he's UNREAL see mr.g vs mr iz so now I have to admit--all the haters out there, you were right

  • @hi10spro IT's all sandbag city here in norcal >_<

  • @XanderinTennis this 4.0 guy is truly phenomenal...and so i'm like now i have to believe peopel

  • The problem with subjective judgments of NTRP levels watching videos is that some judge based on how players look, some judge based on comparison to USTA stroke description guidelines and others based on who wins. One thing that seems obvious is that many people are very harsh in their judgments. I guess non-pros always look worse on video than in person. Regardless, @hi10spro is doing us all a service by posting vids. Let's lose the hateful comments ...

  • @hz2vqk thank you very much. plus have you ever played a dinker and lost...i've seen dinkers at the 5.0 level... and that's scary... guys that GET EVERYTHING back, ugly, but deep...and they don't miss... um brad gilbert...yeah... the consummate dinker...and he was top ten...and i hated to watch him play

  • I find it funny how people are saying these players are only like a 3.5 based on strokes, my dad is a 4.5 and hits the heck outta the ball but his friend, who is also a 4.5, hits loopy slow shots and almost always beats my dad(my dad won once in five years) Strokes do not define how good a player is, strategy and tactics do.

Love your vids hi10spro keep em coming :)

  • @JonCS011 yep :D tactics my friend...tactics. someone once told me, it's much harder to play you than it looks...and i was like..hmm thanks i guess...

  • I don't get it. My coach is a 5.0 and I can't find one 5.0 player half as good as him O_o. Of course he is 2 in the nation, but...

  • @Moddick2 if he's two in the nation in his age group, he should be 5.5 or better

  • Post a vid of yourself playing, and I'll guarantee people will state you're 1.0 levels lower than you really are. That's the nature of humans.

  • @hi10spro ... do u have any idea what ntrp rating even is? it seems ur clueless

  • @cskcolin been to 3.5 ntrp nationals, 4.5 nationals, 5.0 nationals, mixed 8.0, 9.0 nationals...kind of have an idea--but it's a working idea--i've seen the rating--not read it

  • The strokes aren't pretty... but whatever works I suppose...

  • u gotta be kidding me if the white shirt guy is 4.5

  • However, I'll be a bit of a hypocrite and say that "ideal" 4.5 players (if you technically follow the guidelines instead of win/loss record in the 4.5 league) should be able to consistently hit deep (much closer to the baseline than these two are hitting on average), put away easy overheads, put away easy volleys, and put away easy short balls or hit effective approach shots. While they can sometimes do the last one, the rest is nearly nonexistent. But, if they're winning in the 4.5 league...

  • @Oreoclan to be fair, i was pretty much 10-2 in doubles, but my singles, I hardly played singles. Our first singles was a college guy, we used to go back and forth. 4.5 is probably stronger now with the self-rating up so ... it all evens out. to be fair also, we realized we were 5.0 when we didn't practice and still won our 4.5 matches...that didn't happen in 5.0 ahhaha

  • To all you haters out there: You can't say anything until you actually play with these guys. Too many people underrate other players because of an overinflated self image that they have of themselves, thinking they can hit harder than what they're looking at.

I've seen dumb haters like you rate CERTIFIED PROFESSIONALS at 4.0s... For those of you who don't know, professionals are all 7.0 players. You can't say anything until you play them and get your ass torn apart without making them sweat.

  • @Oreoclan AHHAHAHAHAHA to be fair also Oreoclan--well done on that, but i am pretty sure anyone saying anything silly is a kid. Good players would never bother to say I can beat you. we know we can so why say it. I've seen lots of people post vids and seen how good or bad they are, I've felt no inclination to comment at all so I know who these guys are. thanks again for the great input

  • at 1:00 when he hits that smash... He had so much time yet he hits a mediocre smash...the footwork seems poor. The consistency is so-so but the shot selection unintelligent. This has got to be 3.5 or lower... just my 2 cents. I think its around that level due to the fact that I'm about the same level as these guys and I'm 3.0

  • @nomnomnamable hmmm... you must be a good 3.0. the white shirt makes due with a lot less while the orange has more--but he misses...tough to rate

  • @nomnomnamable oh homey..you also realize this is at 12 noon in bangkok in April, it was easy 97 degrees about 39 or so that day... so whenever you are in town, I got you first, then you can play pete and fab in order... this is also pete's second match after he played me so it'll be fair

  • @hi10spro I love how you make the most pathetic excuses for why these guys seem better than they are. 4.0 at best. And I play in California, where the weather gets to 105, and is 115 on court. And I've played 5 hours straight in that kind of weather and would never give a mediocre smash like that. No excuses ever in tennis, unless you're dieing of course.

  • @XanderinTennis it's dry heat in california. come to bangkok bro, I'll play you at 12 noon. we'll vid it, it'll be fun, first round is on me after

  • @nomnomnamable These guys are mid 3.5

  • @nomnomnamable These guys are mid 3.5. LOL when the guy goes "C'mon!" ala Hewitt. LMAO!!!

  • yeah. these guys are not 4.5's too many unforced errors

  • @justineatsramen hmmm... that's interesting because well, 4.5 has a range, and there are pluses and minuses to your argument--Pete is VERY, VERY consistent so his game is a bit hard to judge while Fab has good power, good movement, and is fairly consistent on both sides plus this was at 12 noon on a day when it was easy 98 degrees before humidity

  • @hi10spro

The guy in the white shirt.. poor movement and footwork. The serve is less than mediocre. Would get teed-off in the 4.5 level. Not enough power and depth from his shots. Net game is "bunt-and-wait".

Guy in orange shirt got poor form from both wings. He gets to set and hit his shots because his opponent aren't giving deep shots. His backhand is pitiful, his forehand very loopy with a huge take back. Serve - bad form but it's okay. Errors at 1:11, 2:20, and 2:48 - really bad.

  • @hi10spro - weak to mid 4.0's .. not 4.5's... definitely not 4.5's.

  • I hate it when people say 'Come on' really loud.

  • 4.5 ... you cannot be serious

  • show me real 4.5 players, those two below 4.0

  • Boring because those two guys are not good enough.

  • @emerald555 it varies

  • The come on's are a bit excessive. lol

  • @A550RGY yeah i only do it for tournaments amongst friends nah
