No problem. Unlike most of the other sites I go on, I'm not on this one for debating. I read one of Tony Bennett's books and he talked about not wanting to do the song because it was a classic country song and back then, crossover acts were unheard of. So they just kept the lyrics and changed the melody. Did you know Tony Bennett was an accomplished painter? He has stuff that hangs in art museums. Tony also regretted never getting to personally meet Hank, who'd be Tony's age if he lived.
