Too slow, too uggly, very poor screen response (hate that kind of screen that make you touch it 5 times before you get the action done), space between screen too HUGE, and microsoft is no longer up to date with a full software.

Unless it's a full laptop there's no need for a desktop os.

Only good thing is the way the keybord is deisplayed...This product could be a great smartphone is it's size was reduced to actual smartphone (4.3").

sorry but that zoom is laughable. But it is good that we are getting some competition. I would only buy this if it was cheaper than the ipad not if its twice the price... Also this gets hot something the iPad doesn't. So saying this is as good as the ipad i would have to disagree but it might be good for some people

First of all, notice the site that he's zooming on, YouTube, that doesn't zoom at ALL on an iPad, not with Flash in a web browser. Zooming is MUCH improved in IE 9 BTW though it's still not goning to be smooth with a Flash player embeded in the page and it's not smooth on the iPad, er never mind, doesn't work on an iPad!

Secondly, it get's hot only in one spot, kind of like the spot you're not supposed to hold on an iPhone!

The W100 has TWICE the screen resolution BTW!

This looks like a DS XXXXXXL. I would totally buy this if it didn't have Windows and had better battery life. Still very impressive though. The two screens will bring a new meaning to multitasking.

i dont think its going to be as refined as the iPad. Looks like it has some lag issues, and the issues with venting the heat looks like you wouldnt wanna run it for too long. I think Toshiba should improve it before they release it.

The lag issues you see here are primarily around zooming in on a Flash player in a web broswer, something that iPad can't even do so its a pointless comparison.

@heatlesssun YOU LIE!!. The jailbroken iPad has a flash player (Videos not compatible now) and it zooms in very smooth as you'd expect from an apple product. If they refine the touch mechanic so much that it's on par with the iPad, maybe then I'll buy it. It's very frustrating to use the iPhone/iPad Touchscreen first and then having to switch to a crappy touch screen. ITS HORRIBLE!!!!

I said Flash in a WEB BROWSER, so no I do not lie. You don't have to "jailbreak" the W100 for ANY of it's functionality. And this keyboard is better than anything I've seen on an iDevice.

@heatlesssun You're blinded by your hate for apple. I too disagree with the way apple does thing, but they make quality hardware that "just works" perfectly with their software. Flash for the iPad is called: "Frash". On youtube you'll find tons of videos about frash and people can zoom in on the flash content without any LAG like this thing here has. With a mouse this thing might become useful but that kinda makes it a small netbook with 2 screens.

Hate Apple, LOL! Not at all, just the hype. The iPad is a fine device. Yes, I know about the Flash player, still not in a browser and what you didn’t see here was the instant zoom feature, faster than even the iPad. And that’s not counting the fact that those videos and web pages might zoom better but they are going to take longer to load. Yes Apple stuff “just works” until one wants to do a lot of things, like print from an iPad to a standard printer.
