I hit 90 something looking for the sword of kings, then I got to 99 with Ness, but only like 98 with Paula, 96 with Jeff, and 94 with Poo. I might go back and fill up the rest of that EXP sometime...

Well, I think this video shows that Ness is indeed freak-overpowered, even without the Sound Stone insanity boosts. Which are the following:

*Speed - 20 (beats only Jeff WITH this; w/o, he's dead last)

*Guts - 15 (creams everybody w(/o) this)

*Vit - 10 (beats everybody w(/o) this)

*IQ - 15 (needs this to beat Paula, only beats Poo w/o this)

*Luck - 20 (beats everybody w(/o) this)

I was on the verge of getting to level 99 a while ago, with all my characters, but stopped playing right before I got to it, lol. The easiest way is A.) to play through getting the Sword of Kings, and B.) Finding those little beetle things that give you a ton of exp and you don't even have to fight them.

Its not that hard to get to level 99... you can do it at such a short time at Stonehenge base.
