I am a Christian and if my life was played out in music from the day I was born again (when I dedicated my life to God) some songs would be about being all into God, and some would be about, not going to lie about Satan. Meaning those were not about God. But I am still a believer FSHO and a worshiper. It's God's grace to everyone who excepts him and it IS enough for us, to forgive us and make us clean.

I think that is an awesome response and philosophy.
it's very personal, that's why Jesus died on the cross was to come into each and everyone's lives. Oh and btw, some bands get a "Christian" label because it's easier to get signed. That's probably why the singer doesn't like the industry. It's a choice, one has to make. Why did God put the tree where Adam and Eve could not eat of? For a choice to love him, even though that is why he made us, was to love him and to have purpose. It's our personal choice, for ourselves.

None of those sources are directly related to the band itself. Anywhere that the band has represented themselves, they have continually stated that they are not a Christian band. Some of their lyrics do have Christian influences (Abracadavers has a line straight from the Bible), but they are not a Christian band. And as has already been said, Matt McDonald, the lead singer, has stated they don't even like the Christian music industry. Plus, two of their five members are not Christians.

Like i said, Tcc has three memebers in the band that are christian and two that aren't. because if you're a christian band trying to reach out to everyone, you cant be like david crowder or whatever and have jesusy songs all over the place. also, if you want to grasp how unsettling it is being human, you have to write in the sin that has to do with being human. you cant write out the sin.

you realize matt(lead singer) is married right? everything uses metaphors to avoid actually saying anything graphic... if you are implying that him having sex with his wife is hypocritical cuz they are christian.... i feel sorry for whoever you marry... and dont touch. dont argue stupid points. get off your high horse and do summ important today k emo buddy?

This is what lead singer Matt wrote on TCC's discussion board:
"We believe faith is personal, and can be only held by an individual person. To entitle a group "Christian" would be to assume that the group has a collective soul, or at least individual souls tied to a solid collective belief. Not everyone in our band is decidedly set in their faith, and we respect that."
I think that is an awesome response and philosophy.

it's very personal, that's why Jesus died on the cross was to come into each and everyone's lives. Oh and btw, some bands get a "Christian" label because it's easier to get signed. That's probably why the singer doesn't like the industry. It's a choice, one has to make. Why did God put the tree where Adam and Eve could not eat of? For a choice to love him, even though that is why he made us, was to love him and to have purpose. It's our personal choice, for ourselves.

explain to me why it is that i just checked 4 different sites(Godtube, Gospel Channel, Steel TV, and just basic information over both bands..lol )and all of them represented them as a christian band..again..only care because ur stating lies.

None of those sources are directly related to the band itself. Anywhere that the band has represented themselves, they have continually stated that they are not a Christian band. Some of their lyrics do have Christian influences (Abracadavers has a line straight from the Bible), but they are not a Christian band. And as has already been said, Matt McDonald, the lead singer, has stated they don't even like the Christian music industry. Plus, two of their five members are not Christians.

lol. im just mad because you guys are claiming to know that emery and classic crime are NOT christian bands. I am a HUGE music junkie. especially rock and christian rock. They are both 100% Christian Rock. and it does matter. gives the music more meaning..check any christian rock site browse the artists..i promise you will find both of them.

Fact of the matter is they aren't a christian band. They said they aren't a christian, and they don't plan to be one anytime soon.

This argument is irrelevant, whether or not you define them as being a Christian band, it does not change their music. Emery for example has many Christian members and lyrics that reflect it, but they do not want to be labeled as a Christian band. Its a label, nothing more, on a side note, these guys are pretty good.

lol you should know ur facts before u come on here. maybe if u did a little more research you would know they are a christian band. ive seen these guys in concert and they read some scriptures out of the bible before their last song. and also, they were at a christian convention concert in iowa..so..yeah they are christian kid.

I saw them at a church, too, but that also doesn't make them a Christian band. And most of us have done research: two of the five are not Christians, Matt (lead singer) has said they are not a Christian band and that they dislike the Christian music industry. And while their music does have some Christian themes (Abracadavers has a lyric straight from the Bible), the songs are not about God or Christianity.

adam that wasnt a smart comment if a verse is from the Christian Bible than the songs might be about Christianity. they are Christians so expect a few lyrics to be about their views and beliefs.

Just because the TCC is on tooth and nail dosen't make them a christian band. Tooth and Nail signs both christian and non christian bands. know your facts before saying anything.
Like i said, Tcc has three memebers in the band that are christian and two that aren't. So Yes so of their lyrics could have some type of christian meaning, but Matt the vocals and the main songwriter has said that their music is about life, death, Hardships, and Struggles, with some happeiness put in!

Their Not a Christian band their just a Rock band. Out of the five memebers in the band only three are christian. Also Matt The Vocalist said in a interview with smartpunk that he dosen't like the christian music industy.

Matt's raspy/screaming vocals with skip's drumming and Justin's guitar part(Which almost sound like the guitar part of AC DC's Thunderstuck) = AWESOME!!!!!

they are christians in a christian band, with christian lyrics, in a christian record label... the only reason matt would say that he doesnt like the christian music industry is because much of the bands and artists out there dont have christian lyrics and are real hpyicritical... the classic crime, however, is not...
oh yea... this is the best song on the album btw...
