So Real won this semi, Villa won the cup final...yet this man utd team was the best ever? Too much hype and not enough objectivity. This was a very good man utd team BUT they were not a great team. (Today's Barcelona is a great team, for example.) You have to win prizes. I would compare this 1957 man utd team to the ipswich town of the late 1970's, early 1980's. Young, exciting, breath-taking on their day, but not truly great.
