There was no way McCain/Palin was going to win and it was because people were terrified of her being in the White House. First of all, McCain had such a big jump, because the republican base was gungho for palin...and a lot of moderates were interested in her...until she opened her mouth. She was a much different candidate during her first few days until they found out the real Sarah.
