@sekler001 Gunslinger is more of a range dps class where you shoot your pistols often. Scoundrels are more of a melee dps class or a healing class that can stealth. Scoundrels use a shotgun and do a lot of close range fighting. Personally, I play a saboteur/dirty fighting hybrid gunslinger and love it a lot. I run around a lot, but I also have to use cover to effectively nuke enemy players. Smuggler is a class that can protect doors and nodes extremely well.

@Tim92G because you have to think to use gunslinger, thats a dealbreaker for most so everyone just rolls sages and commandos (or sith equivalents sorcs and mercenaries)

Downtime for patches are a joke. They down ALL USA and EU servers at the same time not taking into consideration the UK time is prime gaming time. At the moment they have been down all night and it's saturday 1.30 pm in the afternoon and still not up, utterly poor performance. Even their next scheduled patch is on a Tuesday late afternoon / evening when most UK players would be wanting ot play.

I understand the need but ffs people are PAYING for this - do the EU in the early mornings ffs

Having just reached 50 on my Scoundrel DPS, I have to say this is my favorite class so far. The story line is full of hilarious, witty humor, the combat is reminiscent of a cantina brawl every time, (not to mention the stealth) and at the moment, even spec'd dps, the amount of healing you can do is ridiculous. As for PvP, a stealthed Scoundrel is completely terrifying. The ability to drop half of one's health in an instance is incredibly satisfying.

It's a shame this is the least played class.

@jalarm27 Yes. Scoundrels and Gunslingers get the same gear shown, but aren't restricted to what was shown for one. (I.E. A Scoundrel can have the 'cowboy' outfit the Gunslinger had)

@iSpudzz as a gunslinger i can tell you the damage output is obscene, but i die fairly quick if i'm not on top of my game :-) - Sniper is the same story as they are mirrored ... so out of these 3 i guess only bounty hunter with powertech spec can withstand some punishment effectively as it has heavy armor
