What a fantastic take on "Little Satchel." I think I prefer yours (and your singing) to the Cockerham version. That chord progression deserves a slower pace and you really nailed it.
thanks for the comment - i actually just sold the bonefaas because i decided it was a little out of my price range too! they're great banjos but so expensive and not easy to play - really chunky neck. i was always wrestling it.
Hey there, thanks for the kind words! It is in open D, but this banjo is a whole step higher - Ab-E-Ab-B-E. Not quite as complex as Fred's version, but it gets the job done...
