Tire pressure monitor light is flashing on dash. When you changed to the 22" wheels you left the stock sensors out. A company actually makes a cheap kit to put sensors back on any wheel combo you upgrade to. That way you keep the convenience of the sensors and don't have sn annoying light on the dash....FYI

Not everyone wants a muscle car beast. This video shows up how cleanly NRE can make a car perform while keeping it low profile and near-stock for the customer. Also shows NREs ability to work with a variety of platforms and makers. Sure its not a monster but this definitely highlights NREs ability to do clean professional work fitted to the customers needs, thumbs up!

Max, its not luck actually. Its called compromise. In order to keep it road worth without breaking things I had to retain the stock suspension with mediocre street tires. This way I prevent all the torque from getting to the ground. I still hit consistent 1.6-1.7 60ft times and make up the rest in the top end.....
I'm REALLY glad you asked that question Max because I'm still on the stock 20 year old axles. Everything in my drivetrain is factory except the clutch and flywheel.
Max, in case you haven't noticed, NONE of his 1500 hp "Street cars" are putting down that power on pump gas without MAJOR traction problems. Until Tom steps up his game and decides to go AWD, he'll continue to waste money on tires. My Mitsubishi on street tires will beat most of those cars.

@nelsonracingengines What turbos did you use? For a 450 TT setup on 10psi I can't imagine you used anything larger than two Garrett GT28's possibly 30's?
I used two GT28's on a Jim Wolfe tune and made 530 hp on 12psi with a VQ37VHR (G37 engine) and could have dynoed much higher. Reliability is a factor with a bottom end that isn't built but I'm curious why you stopped at 450hp. The bottom end can handle much more, reliably. I've found closer to 600+hp without failure on the bottom end.
@maxinator39 I know, but your statement was on pumpgas. It's all in the tuning. I'm not saying 600hp should be an attainable goal with a VQ37 and pumpgas, but it has happened on many occasions. Most "Tuners" don't push engines that far for one reason, they don't own the car. Many owners who tune themselves have found other "tuners" wrong on how much x or y engine can withstand without failure. 600hp is more than pushing it with the VQ though.
this is the only car nelsons built that actually catches traction. remember spinnin aint winnin. you will see that at the track and on the street. got to put the power to the wheels, no point on havin 2g horsepower when you only able to put down 5 which is right where this import is at

Ok if that's the new VQ engine nissan makes then it has a cam less intake valve that's why this car don't have any crazy horsepower numbers cause if u touch the intake valve servo or what ever it is nissan suggests u get a new heads still impressive for not being able to do something really aggressive
Engine internals are also a limiting factor as to how much power you can make. 600-650whp is the limit on the VQ35HR and VQ37VHR engines (500whp would be the safe and reliable limit though). Any higher and you must upgrade the rods and pistons. GTM is currently working on tuning the VVEL head. This should increase efficiency and power by decreasing valve overlap.
nelson.... look into the vh45de engine , we could use some real R&D in this motor , its a alluminum 32v 4.5 liter v8 , 6 bolt main , forged oem bottom end . well worth looking into , came in the 90-95 Q45 infiniti. in 96 , though it had the motor, it didnt have the vtc feature so lost power . please please please. i have this swap in my 1991 240sx. youd dig it even @ 304hp. runs a 12.2 1/4 mile . i use the 5spd from a 300zx 96.

keep your eye on the oil pumps that pump the oil from the turbos back to the oil pan. my buddy blew 2 sets of gt28 series turbos on his g35 twin turbo setup. Those pumps are weak, if they go out you wont know it until you see smoke come out the tail pipe and by then its too late. its from the oil flooding out the turbos and getting passed the bearings and seals in the turbo. be careful!

Those pumps are weak, if they go out you wont know it until you see smoke come out the tail pipe and by then its too late. its from the oil flooding out the turbos and getting passed the bearings and seals in the turbo. be careful!

Im sorry but the exhaust looks like a dog mid turd taking two huge shits at once. Its horrendous. Its too stereotypical boy racer "importy" for a luxury coupe regardless of origin.

@cold02rex Awesome build and im a huge fan...that said a non fart cannon/ melon gun exhaust tuned by third party aftermarket for instance would have done this this allot more justice. Its sounds live incessant ass pissing. Import guys that are car fans in general don't have any special affinity for the fast and the furious. Absolutely not in any literal or real world modification sense. Fart cannon exhaust make me want to kick toddlers.
