You can Turbo a 2-stroke snowmobile engine, but if you use a lot of boost there is a good chance of blowing out your crank seals.

PEOPLE, turbos work on 2 stroke, but wont work nearly as good as a 4 stroke!! as long at the turbo is pushing more air in to the engine its working, and all you need is enough pressure to make the turbo spin fast enough!

@StopLookiing if you set the sled up right with efi and such turbos work just as effieciently if not better with 2 strokes as they do 4 strokes because 2 stroke have a higher power to weight ration then 4 strokes and for the most part rev higher than 4 strokes creating more exhaust gas presure which makes the turbo spin faster which creates even more boost its a simple concept really

@Quincho442 a conventional 2 stroke has a the intake and exhaust ports open at the same time for a short duration so boost would be lost. not saying it cant be done but it doesnt sound like it would be as effective as a similar 4 stroke application
