@yth4lif The diet coke and mentos mix started in 1974 when a kid was drinking diet coke and his sister was eating mentos and she droped the mentos in her brothers diet coke which made it explode all over his face and they told there friends and so on so sompne tried with a whole pack and putting it i a 2 litter diet coke and noticed that it makes it almost like a rocket and fly realy high it came out  on the news on 1978 so uguys arent even close to the first ones to try it.

we have tried with other sodas and it has not been as successful. there is a lot of fizz in diet coke. you can use the fruit mentos too. I would use the plastic bottle so the glass doesn't tip over and break.
