I'm on Interlake drill right now and you guys deserved 2nd, in my opinion. Those deductions were just silly >.< I love the opposing directions for floor and how the music turns off there. It's SO intense :P
OMG that totally sucks! Only 1 point off from a superior?!? And a safety violation for something as stupid as going down on the ground too hard...that's ridiculous! When you performed this at districts, did you get any warning from the judges that you guys were going down to the ground to hard? You guys should have protested.
what place did newport get? bellevue (my school) had just about one mistake that gave them a 10 point deduction... and they dropped down to 6th place or something. =[
i have cousins that go to/graduated from newport.. well actually only one of my cousins goes to newport at the moment.. a senior on the football team

Yay Newport Drill! I was on Newport drill a couple of years ago. What a great performance! Did you guys get a superior? What was the deduction for?

no we were one point off! At the end, last form, when we got down into levels, we hit the ground too hard so they took 10 points off :(
