    because you designed it in context, you don't need to apply any constraints. asfor kinematics, they will work right away because it will respect the original constraints applied between the holes.

  • @m1turbo but if you go to the degrees of freedom you will find all 6. Also, if you continue adding parts (with constraints) they will have again 6 degrees of freedom if the new ones depend on the context one.

    This happened to me; I had many parts and in the end I didn't know if there were properly placed.

    I also want to add that I heard context design is no good, some companies forbid it.

    Please, don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing, just learning. I love your videos!

    yes, in-context design isn't always the best choice. what I usually do, is create the part in-context, then isolate (Right click part>Object>Isolate. then apply manual constraints. this way you the DOF will be eliminated correctly.
