  • Nabucco is nice but not nicer in Masada. Most of the snob israeli bourgeois who travel 7 hours to Masada do not go to TelAviv opera, 10 minutes from their home.

Just a "must", nobody really care about art here.

  • This is probably also why the Israeli Opera

Chose to revive the place and a story specifically on Masada

    Because the relationship Lvarady

  • The irony of fate is: This opera was composed by an italian, a descendend of the romans. and it is sung in italian. So the former enemys and the former enemy language are now celebrated in the historical place... very ironic and also very touching.

    P.S. I am Italian :-)

  • I think Verdi would have been so proud to see and hear his opera playing on the foot of

Masada, it's rightful place with the history of the Jews....

  • It is so touching to see Nabucco in it's rightful place!....

  • Maravilloso!!!!!!para quienes no conocen Masada ,en medio del desierto ,frente al Mar Muerto 400 metros bajo nivel del mar.Ademas de la opera exelente ,el juego de luces ,es simplemente MAGESTUSO

  • Amazing! What a fantastic location at the foot of Masada

  • If the chorus is extremely heart rending, how much more would one feel if he or she saw the actual events being relayed in the song!

  • Va, pensiero became an anthem for Italian patriots.

Verdi would have been proud of this magnificent performance.
