I gotta go look in the mirror. I remember this guy passing me in a Lancaster, Ohio enduro, circa 1973. He had his name on his helmet, and I'm fairly sure he was riding a Puch at that time. His name was familiar to me as I sold Cycle Guide at the garage where I hung out, so I read of his ISDT endeavors. I looked in the mirror, yep my hair is about as gray!
@nutrinutbob Thank you for checking out the video, Bob. You are a lucky man for having had the opportunity to compete against guys such as Doug Wilford. The man did it all, in both the sport and the industry of motorcycling. A true gentleman, too.
ok, maybe this guy is a real sleeper but, i grew up in amherst, ohio....born at amherst hospital, and my dad bought me my first honda mini trail 50 cc bike from penton honda on cooper foster park road. its still there and i still love those memories.
