It's a lot harder to hold it still when you have to zoom in a long way. Every movement is magnified by the zoom. The vids from CrueFest are worse than my one from Minot, ND. I wanted to take more still pics at the Minot show, though, because we were SO close!

they seem bored as hell playing this song for the umpteenth time, like they are making shopping lists in their heads while performing. "Let's see, I need eggs, bacon, oj, tp, dental floss..do I have dental floss? Oh wait I borrowed some from Tommy last night.. ok, where was I?.." I don't know, version just seems kinda tired.

Usually they do this song when they are at a point in the show where they need to cool off for a second, and bring it down a notch.

I have more videos up from Crue Fest in Denver, CO on 08/04/09! I was no where near as close, but I think they turned out pretty good. You can see the whole stage on most of them. I also learned how to use the zoom while shooting!

Yeah, I got in just as Theory started playing ,but I heard that too. Security was a pain in the ass for everybody at that show, for some reason. Not the band's fault, though.

Tonight is Crue Fest 2 in the Mile Hi City of Denver, CO! Hope to have more vids up for the peeps to enjoy! Rev Theory, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool, Godsmack, and of course THE CRUE!

Absolutely incredible video. Should have zoomed in closer for the first part but other than that great quality. I was right in the center by you about 7 people back. I wanna say that they were better this time around than last year because we got to see them earlier on the tour.

Thanks for the props! I have no control over the zoom after I start the video. That's about the only knock I have on that little camera. Other than that I love the video's that it shoots. Check out my others!

The one I used is the SD1100. I really like that little camera. Almost as much as my Rebel XLI!

I think we were like 10 back in the line to get in the gate. I wanted to be up close and personal for my all-time favorite band, MOTLEY F'ING CRUE!

It was a decent Crue show. Not the best that I've seen. They seemed to be having a lot of problems with sound and their ear pieces. There were a lot of animated gestures at the sound people over on the right side of the stage. But, given it was my old home town, great position in the crowd, and the Crue, it was very enjoyable!
