I saw the Aerospace Museum in Balboa park (the round building in the green area starting at 3:04) the thing that has always bugged me about KSAN in FSX is how close all the buildings along the taxiways are. If youre not careful you would accidentally hit a tank or something with a wingtip :\

I believe you could land one there. They had 747's land there for a long time, and from what I hear, the 380 does not need much more than a 747.... but I'm not an expert in that.

Actually you don't know what the hell you saying, cause a 747 use to land on a daily basis. I am born and raised in San Diego and use to watch planes land while waiting for my wife to get off work in downtown. It was British Airways that use to have a route through San Diego for about a year, until they realized they were not making enough money in San Diego. They also land DC-10's and Delta had an L10-11 service to Hawaii I flew on once. trypwned doesn't know shit.

no you cannot land one there.  no 747-400s can service san diego at full weight because of the runway length. british airways used to fly 747-200s into san diego that would pick up passengers then stop in phx to pick up more and then the fully loaded plan would fly to lhr. the largest planes that fly into san diego now are 767-300s.

Ideally at San Diego Lindbergh in any large aircraft you would want to land to the east as then you avoid the displaced threshold. But other than that it was a great/controlled approach.
