Now all we need is to solve the light problem in places with bright light and to remove those ugly bars and it's a hit XD.

Can we see behind the image or is it just 2d and the same 2d view from anywhere around the image?

I'm pretty sure it's 2d around the entire image, unless they wanted to hook up 4 separate cameras and record at different angles and upload them onto each projector.
