Okay so I have a few questions.... I have shoulder length hair, do you have an idea about how long it would look if I did this? How much setting lotion should I use? How much water should i use? I sleep for about 8 hours each night, will i get the same effect if I leave them in for that long? Okay Thanks Now I have some comments... You're really pretty! I love your hair so much! This video is awesome! You're amazing! -kthanksbye:D
If your allergic to sulphates in shampoo..how are you suppose to use a heat protectant. I get great results using heat protection on my hair before heat styling but the only way i know to remove the cones in my hair is to use a sulphate shampoo. Do you know of another way to get rid of the cones that need harsh sulphates?
@Sahiralyn - I've never had a problem removing cones from my hair using any shampoo. But, if you feel like you can't remove them from you hair using the shampoos that you have then I would try using a leave in. Many leaves are made to fight heat and use very little to no cones.
How long do those waves usually last you? I've done this a few times with a little bit of a creamy moisturizer and it doesn't last long at all. I never thought of using water or setting lotion, I'll try it, thanks!

@LadyBr1Br1 - I am AA with naturally very highly textured hair. This was done on hair that has been previously straightened.

@mimiluvpup324 - The roots are straight because my hair was already pretty straight just a little poofy. I don't wet the roots with this method.

Pretty I do this all the time and sometime with 1 big braid in the back for about 2 days then take it down and it will look just like that wavy.
