@askloglog this is actually my buddies car, it has a D&D performance T5 tranny with slightly taller gearing than a stock T5, so the 4.10s were installed to shorten the gear ratio some more. im not sure what he gets for gas mileage exactly, but its probably mid teens-mpg depending on how you drive. highway might actually kill gas mileage because of the engine turning a higher rpm, for example my other friend has a 95 Gt 5.0L and turns just over 3k-rpm at 70mph(which is alot more than stock)
@askloglog mybad wasnt trying to sound like a know it all or anything haha. but yea itll definitely go down , depending on how you drive. BUT id take power/torque over fuel mileage :-D
@askloglog Before I stroked my 5.0, I was getting 16 mpg with 4.10s... compared to around 20ish with 3.55s... but also, mine is cammed and blown with a paxton novi supercharger so that brings it right on down too lol.... but man ill tell you, its DAMN worth it... the 4.10s put me at 463 rwhp but boosted the HELL out of my torque at 522 pounds torque.... and its a daily driver, 70% interstate... no problems...
