  • Luther is a hero , the catholic priests are a bunch off pedohiles NO SURRENDER ROME FOR LUTHER

  • @YourgettinBombed

Did you watch the video? Roman Catholicism is a demonic heresy. I do not support the Catholic church in any way, shape or form. The RCC is the devil's church.

  • @ACallToHoliness hahah I watched It man great video Am only messing around

  • Dude???

  • ACallToHoliness do you still keep pagan days such as the Xmas?

  • You're right, we need to examine the FRUIT of the modern church, today's church teaches faith but is it faith Jesus taught or even James INSPIRED by God (book of James).

Before I was in Christ I read what Jesus taught. Counted the cost as God was doing His work in me. The Holy Spirit brought me to Christ. It was huge to me, not merely "making a decision to pray after" someone.

Paul Washer is good to make a distinction in the USA Church and those meet underground...persecution.

  • 6:38..."worldliness"..............we as humans need to be worldly to see the worlds of others to erase the fear of ignorance. YouTube is great medium for such cultural-theological exploration.

  • its such a mess these days bro. thats why i drift towards (Wicca), simply because it provides some common sense basics that even high level Christian clerics and Muslim clerics have forgotten.

  • to really follow Jesus one must be born from water and Spirit... flesh cannot follow Spirit... problem of many churches today is that they claim to be Christians but they are cultural Christians... they have a form of godliness but they don't have Spirit nor power

  • Faith alone saves. not prayer, not works.

  • @12343590

But not a faith without works.

  • @12343590 read James in its entirety.

  • i am soo convicted

  • acalltoholiness you make such great points. somehow i can't imagine you being a catholic. there is this catholic gentelman who promotes this film as his way to prove catholicism superiority over newer christian churches. what is your view on catholicism? somehow i don't think this rotten tree is anywhere near the path we all seek. your film gives me a lot to think about. i think i am too human to be a good desciple. i will certainly try though.

  • @KatolicyToPoganie

No, I am definitely not a Catholic. I preach regularly against the Roman Catholic religion. As a matter of fact, the same points I bring up in this video could EASILY be applied to Catholicism, since Catholics are taught to obey rituals instead of walking daily in the power of the Holy Spirit.

I've witnessed to many Catholics, and they have always had a head knowledge but no life transformation by the power of Jesus Christ.

  • @ACallToHoliness not for a second did i actually think you were a catholic. there's this one super catholic dude who's using your material to fight other christians.

  • A par of this video was shown in my College course on the Protestant Reformation era.

  • @LivingCrusader

What school do you go to?

  • 1 Cor 4:3,4

  • Pharisee's shouldn't be name-callers. That's not very holy of you!

  • No, I'm not embarrassed. I just don't like associating with pharisees.

    REPENT!

  • the Catholic Church is the only one who has still not changed its stance on abortion. Nearly all the protestant churches have, including contraception, divorce, and womens ordination.

  • What is this Amish going on about? Go back to your farm.

  • @herbertwarmstrong

I'm not Amish. Get into the Word of God and abandon your Armstrongism cult.

  • This is the first I've seen or listened to this video, and I don't know the whole story of who he is or what he stands for, but what is being said in this video seems to be 'right on'. Most of the Christian churches in America today are so far off base from what God intended His Church to be. We are more worldly than Heavenly, more big business than a people showing God's love to a lost world. In regard to this video I say, good job.

  • Why do I get the feeling you are out in the woods because you were chased out of town?

  • thank you for this video need more like this all the truth said with fruits of the spirit thank you bro God Bless you! great video

  • My brother don't regard the opinions of people, I myself don't preach or teach any certain dress code as long as it is modest and not sexually suggestive,or a temptation to the opposite sex. I think your teaching the word of God and I'd say be encouraged in Jesus Name!!

  • LOL! Your attire reminds me of what Christ said to the Pharisees. "Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity"...

"But all their works they do for to be seen of men; they make broad their phylaceries, and enlarge the borders of their garments"......

Its amazing how accurately Christ described the spirit of the Anti-Christ. They can be spotted from across the street!

  • @ShownMercy

Wow, talk about unrighteous judgment. I do not preach or teach any particular dress code. Are you suggesting that I have suspenders and a beard because I think it makes me holy or to be admired by people?

Like I said. Wow, talk about unrighteous judgment...

  • @ACallToHoliness Absolutely. Thats exactly the reason you display yourself the way you do. As did the Pharisee's of the old days. They tried to "appear" as holy as possible so people would believe they were holy. Jesse Morrell pulls the same dance.

  • @ShownMercy

First of all, have you ever been to Maine? I see men with suspenders on every single day with button up shirts, especially flannel shirts like in my other videos. And what do I have to do with Jesse Morrell?

You've never met me, you're sitting who knows how far away, and you're pretending to know my motivations for buying a set of suspenders at Wal~Mart?

I mean, come on, that's just silly. Why not listen to the videos and talk about that instead of making wild accusations....

  • @ACallToHoliness

You are getting to the TRUTH! May God Bless you now and forever. But there are some called to be single, or husbands or wives or to bear children.

In this way we cannot totally abandon our homes and clothing and ways to educate or live in the 21st century.

I tend to like 1 John 4 ;) loving others is actually the most DIFFICULT way to live.

    God Bless

I am an alien and a stranger. I'm not of this world.

  • This is a very good video. I wish I could find a body of Believers who really wanted to worship JESUS. My children & I no longer go to church. We have prayer and Bible study at my home almost daily. I'm tired of the gatherings of people who don't even believe the Bible for real. I'm blown away at what I hear in the pulpits. So how am I suppose to serve my Christian brothers and sisters? How am I supposed to give to them, when I don't know where they are? I give to the poor when I have it.

  • Amen Brother! I loose sleep over all the people will go to hell on judgment day. We have to be bold and preach in season and out of season, if we truly love our neighbors. The Gospel is the power to save. The fear of God is the begining of wisdom! GO STAND SPEAK

  • we know that Luther brought about the reformation, you can't deny him that. but at the same time he hated the jews. he was a disciple of Augustine. What came with the reformation was guys like Calvin, who was a unrepented murder. believe what we believe or we will kill you. it's like a spirit that entered into the church.

  • @kmeministries

Exactly. Ever read or investigated "The Jews and their Lies" written by Martin Luther late in life after years as a leading mainstream magisterial reformer?

  • @kmeministries

    -

I'm afraid we are being unfair to Calvin when we don't consider the issue more closely in its context. At that time, it wasn't uncommon to burn a heretic. That doesn't make Calvin right, but it wasn't something shocking or illegal he did having Servetus burned; it was common practice and law at the time and was to be expected. Secondly, Calvin didn't simply burn Servetus cause he was on a power trip, mad with rage that Servetus wouldn't submit to Calvinism...

    -

    contd

  • @kmeministries

    -

    contd

    -

...Servetus was teaching against the Trinity and even questioned the Deity of Christ, if I remember correctly. Furthermore, Calvin wrote Servetus telling him what would happen to him if he came to Geneva, which Servetus ignored and went to Geneva anyways. Furthermore again, Calvin visited Servetus in jail and tried to convince him to repent so that he would not die; Servetus stubbornly and unrepentantly held on to his blasphemies and, as a consequence, was burned.

  • @AgApE010

The true Christians like Michael and Margaretha Sattler were being killed by the Catholics and the Protestants. As always, the evil tree produces wicked fruit.

People led by the Holy Ghost do not need the culture and laws to stop them from killing because they have Christ.

  • The Reformation failed? Interesting. You know, one of the fruits of the Reformation was the English Bible. Before the Reformation, Bibles weren't available in the common language because Rome would burn people for possessing them. So if you think the Reformation was a failure, by all means, take your English Bible and throw it out since it is apparently the product of a "vexed plague."

    -

I'm just taking a wild guess, but you don't really know much about the Reformation, do you?

  • @AgApE010

Wrong. There were multiple English versions before the Lutheran reformation including Wycliffe's.

  • @ACallToHoliness

    -

I didn't say the English Bible came from Luther. When I say "Reformation," I'm not merely referring to October 31, 1517. The Reformation was a movement in progress for centuries; Luther was just the spark that lit the barrels filled by Reformers like Waldo, Wycliffe, Tyndale, and Hus. Thus, the English Bible did indeed come out of the Reformation.

  • @AgApE010

Thats lunacy. Waldo, the Lollards, Hus and others taught things very much different than Luther. They were in line with the Radicals who existed in direct line from the Apostles through groups like the poor men of Lyons and others.

Luthers beginnings were good but then he failed when he yoked church and state which ended his reforms.

  • @ACallToHoliness

    -

I never said that the primitive Reformers lined up with Luther on every single minute detail, although they did agree on the main issues. But that's neither here nor there; my point was that when I said that the English Bible came out of the Reformation, I meant Reformers like Wycliffe and Tyndale, not Luther, as you misunderstood me to mean.

  • @AgApE010

To claim that Luther bears responsibility is insanity. Luther himself said in his letters that there were MANY BEFORE HIM and ALONGSIDE HIM that taught against the Catholic church. He then turned on many of these people and had them killed. Have you read any of Luther's letters?

  • @ACallToHoliness

    -

"To claim that Luther bears responsibility is insanity"

    -

What are you referring or responding to?

    -

I know there was many before him and with him that taught against Romanism. What did I just say in my previous comment? I don't carry conversations with people who don't pay attention; it is frustrating to repeat one's self in text.

  • @AgApE010

I would suggest you take your comments elsewhere as I've dealt with you at length previously on my other channel and found it to be promoting Calvinism and unwilling to approach matters with charity.

  • @AgApE010

Also, there were many translations in the common tongue made b the primitive Waldenses and other groups well before the Reformation took place.

The Anabaptists produced the first translation of the Prophets in German. Did you know that?

  • @ACallToHoliness

    -

I know there were many translations. Those various translations came out of the Reformation movement, which the Waldensians were a large part of.

  • @AgApE010

And you do understand the Catholic Counter Reformation right?

  • @ACallToHoliness

    -

Yes, and the Catholic Counter Reformation was just that; an attempt to respond to the truths that Rome saw being preached that were destroying its religion. That's when they included the Apocrypha into the canon in an attempt to use it to teach against Luther's Sola Fide. But you've answered my question that you don't know enough about the Reformation in order to try and teach others. Remember what James said about not too many people being teachers?

  • @AgApE010

Sure thing, think what you will. I have a degree concerning these matters and beyond that I'm very well read on it. But believe what you wish.

  • @ACallToHoliness

    -

"I have a degree concerning these matters"

    -

Lol, you're not impressing me. Besides, you can understand history and truth and still not submit to it. I know of many Papists who have had the Bible explained to them and have been shown it teaches Sola Fide yet they continue under the saddle of Romanism instead of accepting the grace of Christ.

  • @AgApE010: A lot of catholic theologians though use scripture to show that sola fide is a myth...

  • @RockyBalboa211

    -

Can you show where from Scripture these theologians show Sola Fide to be "a myth"? And can you show why we should understand numerous passages which state that salvation is through "faith, not works" and through simply "believing in the Son" as ACTUALLY saying that salvation is through "faith and certain works" and "believing in the Son and also adding your own efforts"? I think you'll find that you have to corrupt the word of God in order to hold to Romanism.

  • @AgApE010 umm, maybe the whole book of James? James 2:20 "Faith without works is dead". Revelation in that we will be "judged according to our works". Faith alone is a heresy and never was in the bible.

  • @CreedChrist

    -

James is saying that if faith doesn't produce works, it is not a real faith. As James says in v. 14 "can that faith save [a man]?" That isn't different from Sola Fide. We all teach that real faith in Christ will result in works AS A FRUIT OF salvation, not as a MEANS FOR attaining salvation...

    -

    contd

  • @CreedChrist

    -

    contd

    - Elsewhere James speaks of being justified by faith and works, however not as being justified before God, as you think, but before other men. That's why James says "Show me your faith without your works, AND I WILL SHOW YOU MY FAITH BY MY WORKS." (2:18). You need to take the passage as a whole, not isolating a single verse, which will teach you nothing.

  • @CreedChrist

    -

    "judged according to our works"

    -

Yes friend. However that judgment is not over whether a believer will enter heaven or a unbeliever enter Hell. Every believer will enter heaven, as Christ said "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that those who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life"; and every unbeliever will enter Hell. The judgment is concerning the degree of rewards for the believer and punishment for the unbeliever...

    -

    contd

  • @CreedChrist

    -

    contd

    -

...There is no longer a judgment for the believer as to whether or not he is going to heaven; it is already promised to him through Christ. As the Lord Himself said "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life." (John 5:24).

  • @AgApE010 Wow, that was a little much don't you think? I don't think that he was saying everything in that era was horrible. I think he was speaking of it in general. Did you know that Martin Luther burnt people at the stake who tried to have Bible studies in their homes with out an ordained priest officiating? You call yourself agape, so why attack your brother in public & give athiest more reason to disbeliev? John 13:35 you should read this verse.

  • @mammal46

    -

Hey mammal. No, I don't think it was too much; it is a serious matter. God did great things in the Reformation, the fruits of which we still enjoy in the Church today (such as the one I mentioned, namely the English Bible). So for someone to ungratefully, arrogantly, and ignorantly say that the Reformation is a "vexed plague", as the uploader says in the video description, is horribly wrong and casts a negative light on the wondrous work of the Lord through His servants.

  • Good message Jeremy.
