why are you getting so angry over differences in culture, you are seriously out of order and an insult to the way of bonsai, please throw out your sticks in a pot and leave it to the mature professionals. I have studied japanese, chinese and contemporary bonsai for over 35 years and have had exhibitions all over the world. Get a job and stop wasting my time
@Hvalborg1 where are you from, everywhere around the world it is called bonsai, so you pronounce it bon-sai, if it was called bonesai, then we would call it bone-sai.
turface is a media that can be added to your soil mix ,,, it will help with drainage ... turface is used on baseball fields ... i found you can get schults aqua plant soil ,, this is turface nothing more ... it is pricey tho ... you can also use oil dry witch is a baked clay product ... you can find it at most auto stores ...
I have a Canadien Hemlock which is naturally a very slow growing tree, I also transplanted moss over the entire area of the top soil in a 6x8 inch pot. Now.... I mist the tree and moss thoughly 5-6 times a day and give it a good amount of water 1/week. I am knew to this hobby - can someone tell me if this is the correct process and critique what I might be doing wrong?????
It's tough to comment on watering without knowing the composition of your soil. See my how to create a bonsai video part three for information on my soil. I water every third day in winter, every other day in the spring and fall, and every day and sometimes twice a day in the summer. I also do not put moss over the entire surface of the soil as it inhibits soil aeration. I just grow a small amount of moss at the base of the trunk.
yea, why are you getting so Angry you Fucking Cunt

Hes pronouncing the Bonsai wrong.. it's Bone-sai not bon-sai. Pronouncing it as Bon-sai is like kamikaze in japanese.

For those who care the char creating the sound bon means pot And the char for sai means plant. Not the other way round as stated in the video.
daalaz 3 years ago
Actually it means trat and planting, not plant and is 'a plant' but 'to plant'.
