  • I just bought a blade Mxc2 at ez pawn. Looks and flys like new and was only $30.

  • @easydoz1 Awesome idea! I never thought of checking pawn shops for RC stuff!

  • Very nice light setup! I'd love to fit these onto my new Blade mQX.

Could you possibly list the part #'s for the resistors and magnet wire from Radio Shack. Also a short DIY Video on how you wired everything up for us that aren't familar with electronics would be Awesome!

  • @RugRatCoupe There's a bunch of different ways to buy the parts - different packages. Radio Shack doesn't have a great selection (and about 30% higher price), but I use them sometimes for convenience. I have ordered some more lights from SuperBrightLEDs and when I get those in, I'll be doing a detailed video showing all the soldering techniques and how to calculate the proper resistors. It is not something I can explain in a comment.

  • This is great. I like your way better then splicing. Could you be more specific about what you bought on that website?

  • @weber161 They are called 3mm Component LEDs. They have maybe 15 varieties, different colors and brightness. Just get the brightest ones that are still under 3.7V. Then get resistors and magnet wire from Radio Shack.

  • @weber161 Hey I'm sorry... I was looking it up again and these are actually 5mm LEDs - 5mm

  • im liking it
