im just tired of vids on youtube where the person plays along WITH the song, its hard to discern whats kurts ultra-produced tone-and-your tone. i have this guitar and cant seem to get a good sound/feel out of it. i pulled it outta the box from japan and work on guitars for a living and cant seem to dial it in. was trying to get a feel for what others are doing with theirs. lets hear a clean and dirty SOLO video from someone.

Im trying to find a guitar to buy, and when i find reviews then people changed the pickups (and im only 15 so i dunno how to do it myself) and then i find covers where they havent changed the guitar the smallest, but then the song is playing in background so i can´t hear the actual sound of the guitar clearly...-.-

you can, a little. kurt used a pedal, you can watch him on some vids. his dist./clean volume was close. I just use volume knob. works ok.

ya! the jaguar is a great choice though, much heavier sound! i was looking for something more mid range at the time as i have the ibanez iceman which is heavy as hell! but i would highly recommend the jazzy i love it! enjoy your jag bud :)
