The boat was underwater for 2 days. You honestly have NO idea what you're talking about. The 20HP Johnson that was on it ran fine once the plugs were removed and the water was drained. The boat was used almost daily for another year before being sold.

Well I live in NY but got a CT liscence . You have to be at least 12 years old to get your liscence . Once you do have your liscence , you can not ride a boat by yourself unless their is another person on the boat who is OVER 18 years old .

I have a 58 Avalon. It originally had a 58 50 horse Johnson but it was replaced in 62 by it's current motor, a 75 horse. It was my grandfathers, and then our "families" and now mine. It's a great boat.

Hey, maybe tell the new owner about Fiberglassics. It's a GREAT website for classic boats, and specifically fiberglass from the 50's and 60's.

BTW, The Glasspar Avalon is my Favorite Glasspar boat. I LOVE the lines of them. I own three Glasspar G-3s, myself. As well as some other fun boats. Visit Fiberglassics, even though you don't have the boat anymore.
