Shame she sunk! But looks like a fun time getting her back out xD I wish I had watched without sound.. Your buddies "dildo and buttplug" comment made me LOL at work hahaha
Too bad you did not get me running out of air. Getting the hat off for some fresh air seemed to take forever. I hate holding the last breath of air; makes you really appreciate the surface. I hope you guys weren't to creeped-out, from your vantage point, of the nice dry dock.
The boat was underwater for 2 days. You honestly have NO idea what you're talking about. The 20HP Johnson that was on it ran fine once the plugs were removed and the water was drained. The boat was used almost daily for another year before being sold.
Well I live in NY but got a CT liscence . You have to be at least 12 years old to get your liscence . Once you do have your liscence , you can not ride a boat by yourself unless their is another person on the boat who is OVER 18 years old .
I have a 58 Avalon. It originally had a 58 50 horse Johnson but it was replaced in 62 by it's current motor, a 75 horse. It was my grandfathers, and then our "families" and now mine. It's a great boat.
i love my 1966 glasspar avalon, such a bueatiful boat.. ive actually gotten into a fight at the ramp cause some valley boy and his 50 grand wakeboarding boat couldnt stop talking about how my piece of shit boat was taking so long lol ;p guess us classic lovers take some pride in our stuff huh.
Oh you bet we do. I have a '64 Avalon and it's funny cuz at the ramp my $900 boat gets more attention and compliments then these $50,000 + ski boats next to me. Haha I love that.
I have a 1970 Glasspar and REALLY NEED THE WINDSHIELD MOUNTING BRACKETS for it. If anybody reads this and has any. Leave a comment for me and Ill buy them.PLEASE HELP
Hey, that's a really neat video...ya just don't see that very often! I have a 64 Glasspar Avalon. LOL, re: what I think I heard but won't repeat, haha
The boat cleaned up nicely, and has seen a lot of use in the last two summers! We repowered it with a 35 HP Merc. Unfortunately, Dad had to move off the water, so he sold it last week. :(
That's great! Not the moving part, but the fact she's up and running again!
I could never move away from the water. I'd go crazy!
Hey, maybe tell the new owner about Fiberglassics. It's a GREAT website for classic boats, and specifically fiberglass from the 50's and 60's.
BTW, The Glasspar Avalon is my Favorite Glasspar boat. I LOVE the lines of them. I own three Glasspar G-3s, myself. As well as some other fun boats. Visit Fiberglassics, even though you don't have the boat anymore.
the real reason why they brought it up was because the fish didnt want such a piece of shit to have their babies in.

No such luck- I inhaled some Burger King between dives. That's what you get for being married to the boater's daughter.
