The Old Lady’s TORTOISE (Hinduism) and DRAGON (Taoism) are symbols for WAVE (energy), both are analog with MAGEN DAVID (Judaism). "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is the metaphor, and also similar with allegory of rituals Thawaf circling around the Ka'ba and Sa’i oscillating along “the sinus” Marwah-Shafa during the Hajj pilgrimage (Abraham). YIN-YANG: energy-particle . CROSS (Christian) and SWASTIKA (Buddhism) are symbols for “Balance of Nature.”
I highly recommend reading "Old World Secrets: The Omega Code Projects" by Brandon Levon. A very insightful book which reveals the truth about the foundations of society and religion. For more info. type the title of the book into a search engine. At approx. the second site down an individual should discover a site called abovetopsecret. The author discusses the contents of his book.
Right now I'm reading "The Varieties of Scientific Experience-Carl Sagan" Its vary satisfying."The Theory Of Everything-Stephen Hawkins" Is good. I am a big fan of Michio Kaku as well.I recommend all of them."Green Eggs And Ham-The Great Dr Seuss" Is the most important book there is yet
I own The Elegant Universe and The Fabric of the Cosmos both by Brian Greene. I also own A Brief History of Time By Hawking and Hyperspace by Michio Kaku. A part from perhaps Hawking these are heavily in favour of string theory.
To balance it I would read "The Cosmic Landscape: String Theory and the Illusion of Intelligent Design" By Leonard Susskind and "The Trouble with Physics" By Lee Smolin.
A prolific physics popular science writer is John Gribbin. Also good.
Other books I enjoyed are Cosmos by Carl Sagan, The Pale Blue Dot by Carl Sagan, Demon Haunted World by Carl Sagan, Big Bang by Simon Singh, Universe by John Gribbin, In Search of the big bang by John Gribbin and E=mc2 the biography of an equation by David Bodanis.

How about reading the Old Testament in Hebrew and the New Testament in Greek and then sit back and watch in more horror how many modern Christians.

I left a word or 2 out
"how [seemingly deranged] many modern Christians [are]"
ie, too many Christians take their cue from bad translations.
