My mother loved Deanna -5 years older than Deanna but loved her movies in the 1930's and 40's -I have lived in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada since 1989-the place where Deanna was born December 4th 1921. What a voice and a great entertainer!

@siaripop7 Deanna made 19 movies and sang 4 or 5 songs in each movie - right there you have about 80 videos. Toss in her audio recordings and radio broadcasts, and you're looking at well over 100 songs, maybe closer to 200. I have 45 Durbin uploads on my channel alone.

I Love this song, I discovered Deanna in the 80s as a teenager,The voice of an angel and no wonder years later she remains popular and gains new fans, as Deannas voice is truely unique. I know she must be 87 this year and retired in 1950. its a testament to her talent, that she will never be forgotten and rightly so.

Just think. Without You Tube and other modern technology, this great singer and actress might not be remembered much today. And yet,
the Canadian Songbird was as big a young star as Judy Garland, Shirley Temple, Mickey Rooney, etc. I hope she realizes how many fans she has and has gained and is doing well in her too long retirement. There were other options besides movies to continue her career, but I'm sure she knew that. God bless the great diva, Deanna Durbin!
