Yeah, but she sounds more like a rock-and-roll style voice, like Vocaloids Rin and Len. This song isn't very rock-and-roll, but I do see your point. ^^

Not really. She does do well with slower songs too, 'cause of her powerful voice.

It's not really rock-and-roll... It's just a contralto. She doesn't do well with songs that are too fast.

I have to say she's my favourite in a LOT of renditions of songs. Except Tonari Ni.... Oh God, I was so disappointed. ; 3;

@SeiryuSuboshisan Actually Makoto was one of the best on Tonari Ni(I truthfully prefer it over Azusa's, but what was really atrocious was the live performance done by Azusa's VA. The squealy voiced girls aren't good on slow songs, and the deeper voiced girls (Makoto, Chihaya) do better at slow songs and some fast/giddy songs, but I'm not a fan of those anyway...

@Jadasan I disagree with every fibre of my existence. I don't want to rant about it, since it makes it seem like I hate Makoto's voice when I love it (SO MUCH) but.

Her Tonari Ni... was *God Awful*.

@Jadasan It's just... The awkward transition between high and low due to her inabiltiy to choose between one, her cracking voice, her unstable notes and the lack of concistence as she just switched randomly between soft and then powerful with no warning or thought at all. ><

This is definately my favorite iM@S video ever! It was the very first one I saw and... It's just the best to me!

Makoto and Azusa make a great duo. The contrast of the light and deep voices are spectactular! Chihaya works good with Makoto too.
