You are so beautiful! :) I go in to deliver my son in about 14 weeks or so and I can't wait! My husband and I want to put together a labor and birth video like this. You are so peaceful, even though your epidural failed! I hope my delivery is as wonderful.
@kyleandcourt your made laugh when you said taht you had a cathader in and you said that you can eat all your ice chips and then just let go! too funny!
i know that you probably don't believe me but you looked beautiful. loved when you straightened your hair before you went to the hospital.
This is basically how my mom went with me, lol. I was a week late, though, the doc had to induce my mom, then break her water, I just wasn't coming out! I was born with the umbilical cord around my neck, and that's why I failed to pass completely through the cervix. I was fine when I was born, I was even sucking my thumb, but a little while later I had trouble breathing. Phew...
It is so similar! Apart from the fact that your baby was almost a full 2 pounds bigger, and the fact that my labour was ridiculously short and painful. I watch your labour and delivery and am super jealous. I can never have that. I hope baby number two comes early for you as well, just a couple weeks, then you avoid the most uncomfortable part lol.
@Twilight19922008 I did... I wasn't suppose to, but my epidural failed and so I just went for it! They still billed us for that stupid epidural, haha!
@gOtHiCxAnGeLxox My hair isn't straight. You only see me straightening my hair after I have already been working on it. And some people with straight hair straighten their hair to help smooth it out, especially in humid areas. =)
@33Muslimah I had her exactly at 37 weeks. I was suppose to be induced, but when I checked into the hospital the night before, I was already going into labor on my own! =p
@edaj84 b/c I suddenly lost a lot of blood before my water even broke (I thought it was my water breaking) plus the baby's heart rate was dipping very low (so was mine) so they did it to slow things down a bit. It didn't really work... I progressed SUPER quickly all on my own (no pitocin, etc.)
I love how throughtout your labour your constantly checking your appearance. With the straightening of the hair at the start to the touch ups just before it gets intense. lol its something i would do too.
Haha, yes, my plan was to try to stay fairly cute but I did have an epic fail between the hair pulled back badly with the headband and incredibly puffy swollen face! You stop caring though, which is good. =)
you look gorgeous pregnant!! How much weight did you gain in this pregnancy?? I have gained 15 and I am 17weeks pregnant and a little nervous about gaining a lot..
