its sad to loose a stadium with so many great memories. i cried when they imploded riverfront stadium to make way for the great american ballpark. it doesnt compare...

@helliviknow Personally I like the GABP... not the best park but it has its good stuff. I actually like this place better than the new Busch Stadium - except for the fact that STL has a good organist and the Reds no longer have one.

What was the matter with this stadium. Are all 30-40 year old stadiums going to get demolished. How can memories live on. Maple Leaf Gardens is almost 80 years old & its gonna be renovated & used for university hockey & a store.

losing busch stadium was like losing a piece of my heart. i had so many memories of that place. when it came down, it felt like a piece of my body was missing. the new stadium will never compare.

lol. wasnt the last year that the sox played in comiskey the same year that the all star game was in wrigley? makes ya wonder why they didnt play the game there instead.. like yankee stadium this year.
