putting any fwd car above 300hp would be stupid. especially if you intended on using it for track.

Have you ever worked on a car? It wasn't that much work as far as engine builds go... It was done on a smaller budget and it got over a 60bhp gain from stock. That's damn good improvement. And since it's a light car, it's a great benefit.
