i've got a small light weight vada hd pocket camera. 230grs. its worse than hand held. shaking all over. Does it matter that the tri pod 1/4 inch unc thread at the base of camera is off set to the right? Please help. I've tried with no washers and made up loads more heavy ones in my work shop, but still no steadyness at all.
Mine just came in today im still trying to stop it from wobbling side to side so much. its sucks that I cant use it with my wide angle lens, it makes my canon HV30 to Heavy with a crazy front tilt. Does any body know where a set up tutorial is?
i got one on ebay for 45 bucks... shipped from turkey... for some reason it doesnt work very well... really wobbly on side movements.. swings like a pendulum
@twingo50 wow I guess they raised the price. i got it off amazon for 119. came with a ton of washers. Thanks for the video tho, it sold me on the product.
To anyone who has trouble to setup Lensse steadicam..
This video helped me a lot..
Just search in youtube for "Hague MMC Mini Motion Cam Set Up Guide"..
For some reason I can't post direct address to video..?
..To Johnny
I think that your pocket camera is too light.. My camcorder is 255g without battery and best result on my steadicam is with no washers..

If your camcorder is very light, you need to remove fiew washers to get perfect balance..
You can find video on this link very usefull..
Just scroll down before last video.. setup and guidance for steadycam similarly to ours..

for a hundred bucks this thing is pretty incredible. Did you just use washers from a hardware store for added weight?

@spikes6979
Actualy, It was only 55 bucks.. :)
I bought few washers from a hardware store that stabilize movment of camera even more..
I'm quite happy with it now..

Yes, It's much better than shooting from the hand.
Only thing that I had to do is to add some more weight to keep it more stable..
Now it's allmost perfect..
