Here we are, over a year after this song was posted. Great song, but what amazes me is how some people post unreleased Prince songs and within weeks Prince and his lawyers have the songs removed and that person banned from YouTube, yet other songs remain on here unbanned by Prince... Very odd...

Jevetta Steele recorded this song. She was signed to Columbi records in the 90's. It's a great version, but i never heard this one. thanks for posting. In jevetta Steele's album, between the US and UK versions of that album, she sings "Hold Me", Open Book" and "Skip My Lou" . I have both albums!

It was recorded in the late 80's and released in the early 90's. it was given to the artist Martika for her 2nd lp. There is a bootleg cd called Yellow that was released in Europe that was supposed to have a concert film sold along with it but that idea never materialized. The Cd was released by itself though.
