  • This is a Big confusion for humanity in this world especially Catholic people.I hope they should read the Bible as I did b4 I converted from catholic to Protestant.Satan used Virgin Many blind the people. Our faith to Jesus Christ is the to protect us.fake prophet is now coming here & made some miracles & wonders.God Bless us all!

  • EVA FAILED as OUR MOTHER but GOD will HUMILIATE the DEVIL with a VIRTUOUS WOMAN, that WOMAN PERSECUTED by SATAN in APOCALYPSIS 12, a WOMAN prepared by GOD to step on the DEVIL HEAD, for sure, a VIRTUOUS MOTHER of JESUS CHRIST, Our Lady, who appeared in FATIMA, LOURDES, ETC, and now is appearing in MEDIUGORIE since 1981 to PREPARE US to fight an INCREASING ATHEIST WORLD divided by diferent and ANGRY MEN in diferent religions too.

  • Our Lady is the WOMAN chosen by GOD to step on DEVIL HEAD helping US from PARADISE responding our honest PRAYERS. The BIBLE tells us about the SAINTS that WILL JUDGE the CENTURIES and this WORLD together with JESUS CHRIST as written in the BIBLE.

GOD sent Our LADY to appear in FATIMA-1917, MEDIUGORIE recent apparitions and others to REVEAL GOD WILL related to HER ROLE together HER SON and OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. NO POINT in DISTORTING the SIGNS OF GOD and the BIBLE AGAINST CATHOLIC CHURCH.

  • "All generations shall CALL me Blessed" Luke 1:48. Do you call her Blessed? If you don't you are certainly not following The Word of God. Jesus Christ is a King. He has a Kingdom. His Church that He established has declared that He has a Queen as well. This Queen complements him and does not take away from his glory one bit, but rather ads to it....

  • @dino33ca wow wow hold it watch what you are saying there. sure she is blessed. but she is not holy or something u should not worship her.Jesus also didnt'establish the church it didn't exist in his time....

  • "All generations shall call her blessed" Those who don't are not of God. It's just that simple. Heretics have to look to scriptures and the two thousand year old Church That Our Lord established.....

  • @dino33ca Wow,you sure are on the road to hell...The Bible is GOD's HOLY WORD!!!And nowhere in the Bible does it say that we should worhip mary as you catholics do.Believing in your heart (being born-again)that Jesus Christ died for your sins is the only thing you should do the get salvation.

  • @BornAgain0425 You err. You say nothing about baptism which is necessary for salvation and you know little if anything about Our Lords one, and only Church that He established two thousand years ago. Catholics do not "worship her" in place of God. Those who believe that we do are deluded. The Catholic Church existed before the bible. The bible says to believe what is handed down both by word of mouth and that written.... Who else in scriptures can say "My soul doth magnify the Lord"???

  • @BornAgain0425 Catholics most certainly believe in their hearts that Jesus Christ has died for our sins. However, he made it perfectly clear that one must be Baptized in order to be saved. This is what the Apostles did after Our Lords' resurrection, they went about baptizing, preaching, and forgiving sins. Our Lord breathed on his Apostles and said "receive ye the Holy Ghost, whose sins you forgive, those sins are forgiven. Please read Holy Scriptures carefully....

  • @dino33ca what? baptized in order to be saved.what is the meaning of this life then? this is not the teachings of jesus the messiah...his teachings explaining that our deeds are the succes for heaven. not baptized. jesus came to humanity to save us and send us to the right path not in like save us and now we can do what we cant cuz jesus will save me.

  • the argument is this, if satan can menefest to deceive, why then is it improbable that jesus could send mary as a messenger to his children to follow him. i never heard of any spiritual visitation of any marian appearance to folow satan, but to follow jesus. i am puzzed that many cannot find this possible, siince jesus is all powerful and through all things are capable.

  • i think worshipping of Mary is not a sign of evil why Vatican allowed us for praising her even though they know this

  • @6digit ...because the Vatican is evil.

  • @6digit The Vatican is the prostitute of the book of Revelations!

If you are a active Catholic leave the harlot now! Repent and follow Only Jesus and the True word of God

God bless you and share with you Peace Truth and Heavenly Understanding :-)

  • stupid videos just like who made this.

  • I'm so sick of all you self-righteous pricks who think you can put a false meaning on the word "venerate" for honoring saints and Mary. Merriam-Webster defines it "to regard with reverential respect or with admiring deference". By that definition, it can be said that we venerate the fallen heroes of 9/11. We venerate fallen American soldiers with the 21 gun salute. We venerate the American flag. If you think that we worship those people or things as well, then you're just an idiot.

  • erm...for the nth time.. roman catholics dont worship mother Mary. we simply ask for her intercessory prayers. that is we ask her to pray for us to God. the same way you will say intercessory prayers for your mother or father or child or whoever who need your prayers. geez you people get such a kick from dissing the catholics.

  • God rebukes mary worship!

    Luke 11:27,28

And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company LIFTED UP her voice & said unto HIM, BLESSED is the WOMB that BARE THEE & the PAPS which thou hast sucked. BUT HE SAID, Yea RATHER, BLESSED are THEY that HEAR the WORD of GOD & KEEP IT"

Everytime you say a hail mary prayer your putting her on same level as the Holy Trinity. ALL prayers should be addressed to JESUS, ALONE. JESUS created mary she is a mortal NOT divine!

  • @1978dagreat In Luke 1: 26,27,28., God sent Gabriel to Mary. Gabriel, is one of the four angels that stands before the throne of God. Since this angel is a messenger of God's, God sent Him to deliver a message. Therefore, the angel was not speaking on his own, but was communicating God's message to Mary.

  • @1978dagreat In verse 28, we see that this was a message of praise (i.e. blessed art thou). Therefore God praised Mary through His Angel. That is great praise indeed. In other words, what do you value more highly, the praise of man or the praise of God?

  • @1978dagreat In Scripture, God praises Mary through a righteous woman, Elizabeth.

Because the Holy Spirit inspired this holy woman to exclaim, ""Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! "

In Luke 1: 5,6 ,Elizabeth is described as a righteous woman. And she was inspired by the Holy Spirit of God to utter those words in Luke 1:41, 42.

  • And St. Luke was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write these things down for all posterity.

In Scripture, God says that all generations should praise Mary:

    Luke 1:48

For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

  • @1978dagreat Luke 11:28 ,Jesus is teaching that others must, like Mary, also receive the word and obey it. Jesus is exalting Mary by emphasizing her obedience to God's word as being more critical than her biological role of mother. This affirms Luke 1:48.

  • @1978dagreat Luke 11:28 - also, the Greek word for "rather" is "menounge." Menounge really means "Yes, but in addition," or "Further." Thus, Jesus is saying, yes my mother is blessed indeed, but further blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it. Jesus is encouraging others to follow Mary's example in order to build up His kingdom

  • @Christianunity1 Strong's # G3304 = rather" = Menoun = *NAY* which means *NO*!!! "Rather, Blessed are They that" HEAR & DO. Im amazed how you've dissected that PURE scripture into something it does not mean. God is rebuking that women. period! Nice try though:) Also, Mary is not alive so how can she pray for you? I need a date, place & eye witness before I will EVER believe she was resurrected by God who had all 3 & all ascensions in the bible r proven by major Jewish prophets who wrote of them.

  • @1978dagreat Please do a research on “Strong's G3304 “ on Google . Strong's Number G3304 matches the Greek (menoun), which occurs 4 times in 4 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV .Yes verily (Rom 10: 18), Yea doubtless (phil 3:8), Yea rather (Luke 11:28), Nay but (Rom 9:20. )

  • @1978dagreat Why should Jesus reduke that woman ?She was just saying what angel Gabriel and Elizabeth said . Mary herself said in Luke 1:48, "...for behold, henceforth ALL GENERATIONS 'SHALL' CALL ME BLESSED". We are todays generation . Why do you ashamed to call Mary blessed my friend ?The GOD chose Blessed Mary above all women. And then the “HEAR & DO” What about mary ? Did Mary hear the word of God and obey it.?????????.If YES she is blessed . What do you belive ?

  • @1978dagreat Catholics believe in the communion of saints . I believe Mary is in heaven and she is alive. Because I believe in the words of my Lord Jesus .

  • @1978dagreat MT 22:29 Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 31 But about the resurrection of the dead--have you not read what God said to you, 32 `I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob' ? He is not the God of the dead but of the living."

  • @1978dagreat (St. Luke's Gospel 20:38 adds "for to him all are alive" or "for all live unto him")

Now if God is the God of the living and not the God of the dead when Jesus spoke of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob then how can Catholics be praying to dead people? Even though Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob each experienced a physical death Jesus said they are indeed alive.

  • @1978dagreat JN 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; 26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

  • @1978dagreat Jesus himself spoke with both Moses and Elijah even though Moses was dead and buried for over a thousand years and Elijah was taken up into heaven nearly a thousand years before Jesus was born. Jesus is our very example of Christian living and here we have Jesus talking with a so-called “dead saint”

  • @1978dagreat The "Hail Mary" has the scriptural references after each line and is not a prayer to Mary. we are asking Mary to Pray for us. She is interceding the same way a pastor might pray for you or me. We think she is a kicking prayer warrior. Even better than Evangelical pastors.

  • @1978dagreat Jesus said that human beings shall be Holy, because Jesus is Holy, and also Mary is Holy because Jesus is Holy. Her holiness is derived from him. Mary's obedience to God and closeness to Jesus made her holy. Our nearness to Jesus makes us Holy.

  • It is incredible that Catholics don;t see what's wrong with all this. Why do we need 'visitations'? Consecrate the world to her immaculate heart? Makes me sick to hear that. She alone can save? Wake up, catholics. Thank you!

  • Religion = Trolls trolling trolls trolling trolls etc.

  • @Thor22289 Atheism = Children having a temper tantrum. You are like children who don;t want to eat their veggies so they deny the existence of their parents.

  • @catholicexodus Yeah, right. Who want's to eat those crappy veggies?

  • Run from religion and go to Jesus, just YOU and HIM. Only Christ saves no one else. Lord have mercy on us and help us to see you and look to know others.

  • catholicism is the biggest cult on planet earth...run from this fraud religion

  • @scilynx2

If this was any other kind of discussion, I would say 'fine, lets agree to disagree'. But because this involves eternity (heaven and hell), I hope you one day cast away traditions and belief systems that aren't in scripture.

    Let's agree on this.

    There is one GOD.

There is one why to GOD, Christ Jesus. GOD in Flesh.

All prayers go to GOD, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Those worthy to be praised is GOD and the Christ.

Praying "to" saints of old and to Mary is never instructed.

  • @scilynx2

A savior saves from Sin. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world because he saves humanity from SIN and by doing so redeems the world to GOD. By Mary needing a Savior and indeed being saved from sin, she is redeemed to GOD. Mary was a sinner. She wasn't sinless. For all have sinned. Romans 3:23

You use your own reasoning to try to justify what is right and true. I use the scriptures.

  • @scilynx2

You are trying to use reason and make Mary more than she is. I simply say this. If Mary is indeed the mother of GOD, then scripture would have plainly said so.

You are trying to reason why Mary would be the Mother of GOD.

Proverbs 14:12 - There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

  • @scilynx2

When you ask her for assistance, you are praying "to" her. You are giving her attributes of GOD. She is not everywhere. She is not all hearing. Yet you communicate to her as you would with GOD. Mary is not GOD. She cannot be everywhere and hear everyone. That is the point.

  • @sosmither Amen Brother............

  • @scilynx2

Mary was a sinner for she needed a Savior. The scriptures say all have sinned and fallen short of the GLORY of GOD. But Jesus Christ didn't sin and the scriptures said so plainly. But never has the scriptures stated that Mary was the Mother of GOD.

  • @scilynx2

Give me the verse in Scripture where it says Mary is the Mother of GOD. You are making that conclusion on your own. Mary being the MOTHER of GOD is a BIG CLAIM. Surely the scriptures would say so if she was.

  • @scilynx2

The first statement you provide isn't backed up with scripture. But Jesus Christ is the Bread of LIFE - John 6:35

The second statement is correct and the verse you provided backs it up perfectly.

Where is the verse for the last statement? Calling Mary the Mother of GOD is a BIG DEAL. Why isn't it in Scripture? Because she isn't. Don't assume anything. You are assuming she is, but Scripture doesn't tell you that. Show me the scripture that says that Mary is the mother of GOD.

  • @scilynx2

Happy new year. 'Most' Catholics pray 'to' Mary which is wrong.

  • @scilynx2

I agree with you when you say that its ok to pray for each other. That is fine. When you pray 'to' someone other than ALMIGHTY GOD in the name of THE CHRIST, then that isn't scriptural. When people pray to Mary, you are giving Mary attributes of GOD. For only GOD is everywhere and can hear everything. MARY is not GOD.

ALL honor, GLORY, and power goes to the Father in HEAVEN. You can pray for someone to GOD. That's ok.

The verse you provided doesn't justify praying to Mary. Sorry.

  • @scilynx2

You are giving vain reasons why one should pray to or worship Mary. Scripture does not teach on to pray to anyone but Almighty GOD. If scriptures does teach to pray to entities other than Almighty GOD, please share it with me.

  • If Christ is the new Adam.. who is the New Eve? Focus on how beautiful and perfect the ark of the Covenant had to be in the old testament... How beautiful and perfect must the "ark of the covenant" have to be that was carrying Jesus? Why would an Angel call her Full of Grayce? How, like you say below that Christ is sinless, could be be formed in a womb, with the blood of a woman that had sin? That was dirty? How could God be "knit" in that? if there was sin there?

  • Catholic Churchs Teaching NEVER supprorts woshiping Anything, Anyone, And being Besides GOD and GOD ALONE! We do NOT worship Mary. In Reveleation 12 who is the Woman that is clothed in the sun? I dare you to compare Revelation 12 with Our Lady of Guadalupe apparition. In revelation 8 :4 speaks of the Saints prayers being raised to the throne of God, with the prayers of the people. Have you asked a friend to Pray for you? Why not Jesus Mother?

  • jesus is the only one that never sinned. he has no sin. not she. check the douay bible gen chap 3 they changed it from he Jesus will briuse satans head(fatal blow) and satan will bruise his heel(non fatal. to she will bruise his head. she she she she. the kjv bible never ever mentions mary as being my redeemer not once.

  • They are new age pagan's the pope constantine around 360ad changed the ten commandment's claiming to have the authority to do so.The majority of catholic's i know are ignorant to this historical fact and proceed to be lamb's to the slaughter i thank, god that i did not fall for this like many other's who woke up to there mind control pagan cult

  • the catholic church is false... what more can be said about it...

  • Mary is pure, ok

But it was jesus christ who saved the world!

He's the son of god himself!

Jesus is the only way to god, so worship him, not mary

Mary did her thing, dont get me wrong.

  • Bearing false witness against the Church? I applaud skepticism of the deception that is likely occurring at Medjugorie, but your fallible interpretation of scripture is inconsistent. Where did the Bible come from? Isn't it the height of arrogance to assert that all those who have studied sacred scripture for centuries somehow missed the verses you take out of context and misinterpret? Is the Bible the pillar and bulwark of the truth? What is the difference between dulia and latria?

  • @sahale93 between dulia and lateria... you forgot hyper dulia.. the catholic church is false... no doubt about it... the catholic church has introduced many false teachings...

  • @loudmouthspeaker your bigotry and lack of critical thinking are apparent in the confusion you demonstrate between fact and opinion. You quote some wonderful passages from scripture and I say amen to them, but your interpretation is fallible. The Church, though full of sinful men, is guided by the Holy Spirit as Christ promised. There are not truths, but one truth, our Lord Jesus Christ. Only one Church teaches the same consistent message from the beginning - read the early church fathers

  • I think you are a little bit confused about catholics. We believe Mary was a woman without sins,so she was chosen to be Jesus Christ mother. Then Gabriel asked her if she wanted, and she had so many faith in God to believe that she was going to be pregnant being still a Virgin. Then she has been in her life very faithful and pure,so she was taken in heaven with her body.We pray Mary beacouse she had a perfect faith and is a model of pure soul, not beacouse she's the Queen of Heaven or an Idol....

  • Do you salute the flag?if so your GUILTY.

  • another reason Christ established 'One Church' to teach and correct CORRECTLY !

We Catholics DO NOT worship Mary. we honor her as the mother of Christ and our mother as well. The Catholic Church inspired by the Holy Spirit is the reason we all have a Bible now. but i guess you know more. your truely misinformed.

  • @michael61778 you catholics have a leader that hides sex abuse on CHILDREN. You are not inspired by the Holy Ghost, if so the pope himself wouldnt be a pedophile enabler. You have a disgusting bloody history. Christianity was created by Christ, Catholic by Constantine. Wake up you are in an idolatrous, perverted organization.

  • "Satan is a master deceiver"

Doesn't deception go both ways? Could it be that not recognizing Mary is the work of the devil? Or perhaps it is the other way around?

IMO I don't think it is evil.

The messages Mary brought to people were good messages, that we should pray to Jesus for salvation of souls here, in hell and purgatory. Why would the devil do something that benefited us? Also in Fatima many people, including atheists, saw the miracle and they became believers of Jesus :)

  • @Atrudas where in the Bible does it say mary was born sinless or that we should pray to her? When you can produce that i will believe it all.

  • catholics don't worship Mary lemme make that clear we DO NOT worship but rather ask her for her prayers for the sake of our salvation wich is THROUGH Christ

  • sosmither,

    you are so ill-informed.

I will never stop praying for people like you.

  • Yes I understand but MM is a cult which is nothing to do with the Roman Catholic Church . The video states that The RC Church worships Our Lady and that is what I am arguing against sure there are cults that perverse things but the church is against worship of Mary it is honour which is different to worship.

  • The title of your video is totally wrong. The Catholic Church has never condoned worship of Mary , only God is worthy of worship but that we honour Mary as the mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Do you love your own mother ? Then like Jesus loved his mother why can't you love her !

  • I went to a Catholic school when I was 6, about 15 years ago, and they kept saying that she was God's wife. I soon got pissed off at the school, and went to public schools for the rest of my life

  • Yeah well that is the people , They are perversing the churches teachings don't let what people say distort you from true teachings.

  • @just1inchrist That's why I have no religion :D I follow the bible, the end :D

  • If mary was sinless... why do we need Jesus for?

  • Many Catholics DO worship Mary, not realising that worship is due only to the Holy Trinity, but that is the result of bad catechesis.

Mary is the most highly exalted creature and that is why she must be venerated. Veneration is not worship. If you love Jesus, you must love His Mother as well. If you don't venerate her, you're not a Christian.

An idol, as the word is used in the Bible, means a statue of a pagan deity. Icons and statues of Mary and the saints are not idols.

  • Sosmither, You are right to say do not worship Mary and I am thankful that the Catholic church does not teach this and Catholics do not do this.

The bible does not say you cannot pray to saints in heaven, so how do you come to the conclusion it is wrong?

The Early Church Fathers prayed to Saints in Heaven. Are we not supposed to imitate them?

    Hebrew 13:7

Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

  • Catholics pray to Mary because they don't Love Jesus enough. Yes Jesus is NOT enough for them! They think Mary is going to be "more merciful" than Jesus! That somehow Mary loves them more and will do more for them than Jesus did, even though she never DIED or suffered for them. Does that make sense? Who can understand the crippled Catholic mind?

  • Comment removed

  • @ebolingUtube Mary is more merciful than Jesus? Yeah right ... You got to be JOKING right? I don't focus on Mary at all. She is my sister in Christ, nothing more.

  • Who said that she was more merciful this is distortment

  • @Cherubaby Re:Catholics pray to Mary because

Catholics do NOT believe that Mary is more merciful than Jesus. Jesus is enough for Catholics. No Catholic believes that Mary loves us more than Jesus. Why do you believe this?

Protestants like yourself make a much bigger deal of Mary than Catholics do. Why? Jesus is the center of Mass and worship. Jesus is the focus in the Catholic church. Why do you focus on Mary so much? Catholics don't.

  • Great video. And it's true, Mary was not "sinless". To call her "sinless" is blasphemy. Mary is not in Heaven, her body's still in the grave awaiting the first resurrection. Was she "blessed above women" because she was a chosen vessel? Yes. Was she taken to Heaven because of her supposed "sinlessness"? Don't be silly. In fact, Jesus claimed to have MORE THAN ONE MOTHER, saying that "those who do the will of his Father, the same are his mothers, and brothers and sisters." (see Matt. 12:49-50)

  • 1. Mary was NOT a virgin? A guy, probably named Eddy, fucked her. For fear of being stoned to death, she made this virgin crap up.

    2. Jesus? Forget him! Bible is a fake book.

    3. Finally, there is no god! Deal with it!

  • @ahmedhusseinny why say things to anger people

  • @CREWDOG289 Just stating possible events rather than the ridiculous miracles pushed forward for ages by the Bible.

  • @ahmedhusseinny To the unregenerate, the Bible is foolishness but to the elect of God, the Bible is the power of God unto salvation.

  • 12:47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

12:48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

  • Sir, you are sorely mistaken. We, Roman Catholics, do NOT worship Mary. The following is straight from the Cathechism of the Catholic Church which contains statements on what we believe. "All signs in the liturgical celebrations are related to Christ: as are sacred images fo the holy Mother of God and of the saints as well. They truly signify Christ, who is glorified in them." (from paragraph 1161)

  • well done. well done.church of satan.

  • If Mary is good enough for Jesus then she is good enough for me. Satan is a Liar -- the father of liars. Catholics dont be decieved by this son of the father of lies.

  • The Saint Michael Prayer

    Sancte Michael Archangele,

    defende nos in proelio;

contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium.

    Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur:

    tuque, Princeps militiae Caelestis,

    satanam aliosque spiritus malignos,

qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo,

    divina virtute in infernum detrude.

    Amen.

  • The Hail Mary

Áve María, grátia pléna, Dóminus técum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus frúctus véntris túi, Iésus.

Sáncta María, Máter Déi, óra pro nóbis peccatóribus, nunc et in hóra mórtis nóstrae. Ámen.

  • Catholics are nuts when it comes to Mary! Mary is EVERYTHING to them.

  • we do not worship mary, this whole video is incorrect. How many times do catholics have to tell the world that we DO NOT WORSHIP MARY. We ask her for her help through her prayers, just as I would ask any christian to pray for me. And how much better does mary know how to pray since she was the one who gave birth to Jesus! CATHOLICS DO NOT WORSHIP MARY!!!

  • In response to SanctusMatrisTemplum. What would happen to me if I don't go to Mary first but I go to Jesus first for comfort, joy, and forgiveness?

  • listen carefully to the words that are coming out of the mouth of these apparitions, then compare them to what the bible says. Jesus is the only way into heaven not Mary or anyone else. these apparitions are not from the Mary of the bible but from satan himself. these apparitions are leading people away from Jesus into a head on collision with evil. these apparitions are telling people to go to someone else for salvation instead of going to Jesus. the real Mary would never do this.

  • @bornagainsaint1 --Jesus would never permit his Mother to used for any deception, just as an angel argued for the body of Moses because Satan wanted to use it to decieve the Jews.

  • Satan disguises Himself as GOD and you think he can't use Mary also? CRIKEY!

  • @Cherubaby Us less you have Mary as your Mother, and honor her as Jesus did, you CANNOT have God as your Father and honor him as such.

  • @Cherubaby --the new testament says that satan can look like "an angel of light"; that does not sound like a description of God, but an angel.

  • bornagainsaint1: Without a doubt, some apparitions of Mary or Jesus *are* from the devil, that is why we must always be cautious whether we are the ones receiving the apparition or revelation or we are listening to private revelations of someone else. If private revelations conflict with the public revelations contained with the Deposit of Faith handed down from the Apostles, then they are a deception of the devil

Mary always points to Jesus. "Show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus"

  • Since you are very familiar with catholicism, do you mind if I test your knowledge?

  • My mother is an ex-Catholic but I have gone back to the Catholic Church after a long period attacking Christianity.

It is true that we can test apparition's words against the teachings of the Church, including Scripture, to determine whether it is actually her or an illusion of the devil. But prayers to Mary are usually unrelated to various apparitions, so that is adjunct.

Has anyone said that the Pope is inerrant or without sin? The Pope goes to Confession like everyone else.

  • My point is that you may have found reasons to leave Catholicism, I found many reasons to leave Evangelical Protestantism. Ten years later when I got involved with Anglo-Catholicism (traditional, high-church Anglicanism) and then the Catholic Church, it opened my eyes and finally made sense.

My mom and grandma left the Catholic Church after Vatican II and the mess surrounding that. I attend a Traditional Latin Mass parish. What you were taught was probably a confused, liberal distortion.

  • O come on, you got things really wrong here. Catholics do not worship Mary at all, they just venerate her! They just make statues and images of her; they just pray to her; there are more pilgrimage sites for Mary than for Jesus by accident; they just call her queen of heaven and Mediatrix; they have a rosary; they bow down before her and burn incense in front of her statues, but they don't worship her, no no no - not at all!

What's wrong with you to not notice the distinction? ;-)

  • "Scrupulous devotees are those who imagine they are slighting the Son by honouring the Mother. They fear that by exalting Mary they are belittling Jesus. They cannot bear to see people giving to our Lady the praises due to her and which the Fathers of the Church have lavished upon her. It annoys them to see more people kneeling before Mary's altar than before the Blessed Sacrament, as if these acts were at variance with each other,

    ...

    (cont.)

  • (cont.) ... or as if those who were praying to our Lady were not praying through her to Jesus. They do not want us to speak too often of her or to pray so often to her.

... It is a subtle snare of the evil one under the pretext of promoting a greater good. For we never give more honour to Jesus than when we honour his Mother, and we honour her simply and solely to honour him all the more perfectly. We go to her only as a way leading to the goal we seek - Jesus, her Son."

    St. Louis de Montfort

  • @PilgrimToChrist : Show me one verse where we are commanded to honor Mary by talking to her. Do you know about the woman who killed Sisera by hammering a nail into his temple while he slept in her tent? Listen to this: "Blessed above women shall Jail the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent." (Judges 5:24) Maybe you should talk to her as well?

  • Your still not understanding that form of honour which is different from worship where is your evidence that there are more shrines to mary than Jesus ?

  • Theoretically I understand the distinction. But I think it's sophistic - and practically (and in the minds of a lot of RCs) virtually inexistent. My opinion.

  • I love you Blessed Virgin Mary, my Mother. Hail, full of grace! How can anyone say they love Jesus and not love Mary? Do they not love the things that Jesus loved? Did He not love His Mother? Do they not love the things that God the Father was pleased to create to bear His Son? J So why do they not love you? Jesus, Holy Lord of All, have mercy on those who disregard the proper honor due your Mother Mary, the same honor that You gave Her. Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.

  • @tuckeyman Do you have ears but cannot hear? You are the one who better drop to your knees in repentance for worshiping his earthly mother. Do you know in Judges 5:24 it says of Jael who slew Sisera with a tent peg: "Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent." Why don't you worship her too while your worshiping Mary?

  • We dont worship Mary you protesting fool; but she is to be honored as the sinless Mother of God the Son.

  • @AtomicMonster: That you pray to Mary is equal to worship of Mary. So, you don't chant the repititious prayer to Mary by way of the rosary? Yes, of course you do. A fool? Thank you. I love being a "fool" for Christ!! "The preaching of the cross is foolishness to them that perish." Sola Scriptura is true!!

  • The word "pray" means to petition; its said many times in scripture: "I pray thee..."

    -------------------

Also, can you give me book, chapter, and verse for "sola scriptura"? I have been reading the Bible for ten years now and have never read any such doctrine.

  • @AtomicMonster454 You are correct. Sola Scriptura is not in there. However, the Bereans tested all they heard, even Paul the apostle's words, by the Scripture. Paul commended them for this.(Acts 17:10,11)

  • Where in the Bible does it say Mary was sinless?Verse and chapter, please!

  • There is no "verse or chapter" but since Jesus had to inherit a human nature from his mother, it had to be a sinless one; it could be no other way, so she herself was preserved from the damage of original sin.

  • For it to be true it HAS to be in the Bible! Romans 3-23"For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD"! That's it. I showed you where it said in the Bible that we all have sinned! Now show me where it said Mary Never sinned! It doesn't! Why wd God leave that out of Bible?

  • There is no such thing as "sola scriptura", because Paul says they recieved teachings both "written and by word of mouth".

Mentally handicapped people cannot sin, babies cannot sin; Paul made a generalization in order to press the reality of sin.

Mary was called by the Angel "full of grace" which leaves no room for sin.

  • estelle715: "For it to be true it HAS to be in the Bible!"

Please elaborate on the teachings of Holy Scripture as it relates to special relativity or the physics of internal combustion engines and whether or not there is a glass of water sitting on my desk.

If your actually believed that nothing was true unless it was in Scripture, you would have a hard time living your daily life.

Fideism leads to atheism because it posits a truth separated from reality rather than integrated with it.

  • @estelle715 Would a sinful person be worthy enough to be the Mother of Christ, the savior of the entire world?

  • wow, you claim to love Christ and yet, you disrespect his own mother. You think was Mary was an ordinary woman? You think an ordinary person would have the high honor of crushing the serpents head?!?

"I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel." Genesis 3:15 Would an ordinary woman be "Clothed with the sun" Revelation 12:1? Mary is the only way we sinners can come to Christ

  • If you believe that Revelation 12:1 refers to a literal woman, then in order to be consistent you are also required to believe that there literally exists a red dragon with seven heads and seven crowns in heaven (Rev. 12:3). On the other hand if you think Rev. 12:3 should be interpreted symbolically, then why shouldn't Rev. 12:1?

  • @thinkerj Listen I can sit here and mindlessly debate with you, But it isnt even worth my time. What good will it do if you aren't going to believe.

"But Jesus knowing their wickedness, said: Why do you tempt me, ye hypocrites? "Matthew 22:18

  • Im gunna take ELboxxerDave's advice and ignore your mindless, idiot, irrational debates. Like he said, What good is it going to do if your not going to believe?

"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full." Matthew 6:2

  • Only those who have no faith will deny that it is very useful and commendable to have recourse to the intercession of Mary. But what we intend to prove here is that Mary's intercession is not only useful but necessary for salvation: not absolutely, but morally, necessary. The thought of the Savior of the world being conceived in the womb of a sinful, impure woman is beyond absurd.Christ needed a perfect mother, a mother 'Full of Grace',one who was free from sin if he was gunna come into the world

  • Why is it "useful and commendable"? Again, there is no indication in the Bible that people are admonished to pray to God through the intercession of another human being.

To claim that Mary's intercession is necessary for salvation is pure blasphemy. "For there is one God and ONE mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus".

That the Savior of the world was born by a sinful woman, a human being like the rest of us, is in fact a wonderful miracle to conceive. Salvation by grace alone.

  • Remember God hasnt revealed EVERYTHING through the Bible. There are many things we do not know, but to say that Christ was born to a sinful woman, you are literally saying Jesus is an ordinary man, a sinful ordinary man. Through The sin of Adam and Eve, every person born of their mother's womb is already inherited the original sin of Adam and Eve. So if Mary was Born with sin from her Mother's womb, Christ must have been born sinful from HIS mother's womb. Is that what your concluding?

  • No, it does not follow that Christ must have been born sinful. Since you believe that Mary was born "free from any personal or hereditary sin", then also her mother must have been born without sin (and her grandmother and so on). If you don't think that is a logical necessity I cannot see why not Jesus alone could have been born without sin despite having an ordinary sinful woman as mother.

  • From the dawn of creation God was aware of the fall of man that would soon take place. So he chose one woman above all woman who would be free from the darkness of sin, a woman who would be ever more determined to say 'yes' to Gabriel's calling, a woman who just accept it without hesitating or be afraid, A WOMAN BORN WITHOUT SIN! It is through her sinlessness that Christ could come into the world.

I am done your stupidity. Dont ask me if your not going to believe.

  • The amount of ad hominem among the replies here is just ridiculous. I have questioned the biblical (and even logical) basis for your contention that Mary was by necessity sinless, and among the replies I've been told that I am mindless, idiot, irrational, wicked, and now stupid.

So in essence you've told me a lot about how I am (in your opinion) but you have still not managed to present a biblical answer (or why it should even be a logical necessity). Please continue to embarrass yourselves.

  • @KnightOfGodsCourt but worshipping her is idolatry is a sin. Mary was Jesus's MORTAL MOTHER. THAT'S IT..

  • @KnightOfGodsCourt Sin is propagated from Adam throu all humanity, throu the semen of men! That is why Christ needed to be concieved by the Spirit of God, and not by the seed of Adam...that is how he could escape the sinfull nature! And the seed of the woman that He was gonna use to form himselfe a body, had to be pure...with out anny contact with the unpure seed (semen),becouse God is Holly, that is why the woman had to be a virgin!

  • @KnightOfGodsCourt If Mary was sinless, then there was no need for Christ to come because then, somebody who descended from Adam was qualified to be our redeemer being born without sin. But this is exactly what Scriptures deny. No one is righteous hence the need for Christ's sacrifice.

  • @KnightOfGodsCourt

    You're so correct!

  • @KnightOfGodsCourt WHERE IS THAT IN THE BIBLE, NO WHERE, STOP LISTENING TO STUPID MAN MADE TRADITIONAL LIES, READ THE BIBLE, YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT MARY WAS A SINNER

  • @KnightOfGodsCourt Mary cannot intercede because she died a long time ago and she cannot hear you or anyone who calls to her for help. Saying that Mary's intercession is necessary mocks Jesus and is an attempt rob Him of His rightful glory as the sole redeemer and mediator between God and man.

  • HA! It's funny how fools like you use desperation to prove the Catholic Church wrong! If you dont see the importance of Jesus AND his mother Mary in the role of salvation, than your practically spitting in Christ's face! THE ONLY WAY CHRIST,( Who was born without sin) COULD COME INTO THE WORLD WAS IF MARY WAS SINLESS! DUH! Even an atheist would agree with me.

Christ's birth was divine! Because both he and his Mother were sinless.

  • And your biblical support for the sinlessness of Mary is what, exactly? If it actually was a soteriogical necessity that Mary was free from sin, why is the Bible entirely silent on this point?

  • Seriously estelle715, OrganOfPraise makes perfect sense. Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!, does that sound like a sinful moment to you? Think about that for a minuet before you blaspheme in Mary's face again...

  • No one is "worthy enough" to be saved by his/her own works either. That is the story of mankind - noone is worthy enough. God's salvational work is characterized by his grace. So why couldn't he choose an ordinary woman for this task? There is no indication in the Bible that Mary was different from the rest of us.

  • We all have inherited the original sin from Eve, the mother of all the children of Adam. Since Jesus is the new Adam, her mother was created with this unique privilege of being free from original sin. Our Lord Jesus Christ consecrated us as children of Mary in the person of John the beloved apostle when he was in agony on the cross. To John He said, there is your mother, to Mary He said as He gave her all the children of God: here is your son.

  • Of course NOT. No one is WORTHY of Jesus, yet He still came FOR US. Doesn't that prove His Love for US? Who do you think Loves you MORE? Mary or Jesus?

  • @checkthisout732 Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @rbecer1 Read Genesis 3:15, and tell me what an 'emnity' is...

  • @estelle715 lol, the woman in Luke 11:27 had more than than you, when she said "Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you."

  • Gen
