just got an 84 jetta today well traded a 95 ford f-150 for it it had a 351 in it and couldnt afford gas or tune up on it no more everyone keeps telling me its a bad trade but i like the car its basic and 10 dollars did put alot of gas in that car i love vw

These are the best cars ever. I have a 1988 VW Jetta Carat that still runs like new gets 25 MPG City and 35 MPG Hwy. Paint is almost pristine except for a few dents and dings. VW has managed to build the best cars on the road no matter how old they are. They will always be the BEST.
