  • "As this State Department internal memo reveals, the Dalai Lama at one time took $180,000 a year from the CIA for his living expenses. and $1.5 million a year from the spy agency to finance Tibetan guerrilla operations against the Chinese, which included, running a covert guerrilla training center in Colorado." - Michael Parenti, American political scientist, historian, and author

  • The west's support for the terrorist Dalai Lama is not only wasting their taxpayers’ money, but also compromising the collective karma of their people.

    -

Truth and Justice never ceased to prevail. Sooner or later people in the west will come to see the sorryful state their governments put them into

    -

In the meantime, Chinese government will continue to display great wisdom and strength, and prosper despite adversities.

  • Western democracies are not only wasting their taxpayers’ money supporting the terrorists like the Dalai Lama, but also making their people vulnerable to these dangerous organizations. The allegations that the head of Canberra's Tibetan Buddhist community Lama Choedak had sexual relationships with several female students emerged late 2010. And the women received stern warnings from senior foreign figures in the Tibetan Buddhist movement against them going public. Canberra Times 1/5/11

  • What happened in Tibet in March 2008 is a pre-meditated terrorist attack by Dalai against Chinese people with support from his western allies. Just look at the lies that the US packed Falungong news NTDTV and the western media's one sided China-smear campaigns. Western leaders even asked China to restrain towards rioters, and they have no balls to call on David Cameron to restrain towards rioters, DO THEY?!

  • The then Australian PM Kevin Rudd and NZ PM Helen Clark called on China to exercise restraint on Tibetan rioters. Restraint is a word for conflicts between 2 hostile sovereignties. As neither Australia nor NZ recognises Tibet as a separate country, Kevin Rudd and Helen Clark had both made fools of themselves. And both of the them lost the top job, HA karma served them right!

  • The HH Dalai Lama was appointed by Chinese government, like his predecessors.

Check out map made in the west, you will see Tibet being part of China.

Anybody tries to deny this fact are creating bad karma for themselves for lying.

Truth and justice never ceased to prevail. People who have been misinformed will come to see the truth.

  • Sinkiang = Eastern Turkistan. When translated from Chinese to English the term "Sinkiang" means the New Land. Eastern Turkistan has been invaded and occupied by the Chinese since the 1920s and that's why the Chinese Government calls Eastern Turkistan: Sinkiang or the New Land.

  • Wow this is stupid as shit it's obviously a propaganda film.

  • According to this excellent propaganda film, Tibet is part of China.

Is this funny story for child or adult?

  • Anti-Chinese haters PAWNED! Even the US government in 1944 acknowledged that Tibet is part of China! in 1944!!!!

  • lets be realitic in here folks, the whole freetibet campaign is just political games and the video is the perfect prove of such game. the video approves tibet as a part of china because the govenrment was under nationalist ruling which was an ally of americans during the war. after communist took over in 1949, the cia suddenly decided to financia tibet rebel fighters and support tibet independence because commies were red devils. pure politics at play in here.

  • @eastern2western Yup. And its never even been the official US government position that Tibet is independent. Its just like how the USSR and China made propaganda and supported black separatists in the US, who wanted to make a separate "black nation" in the southern states. It was just the USSR and others trying to create problems for America because America was their ideological enemy.

  • it is really strange that certain people can take this exact same tape and make a different claim that is based on false information. I saw one video used this video and claimed that this tape is the perfect evidence that proved ccp had invaded tibet before 1944. well, people who know the histories of china would laugh their butt off because ccp was not even control of the central government in 1944.

  • Great video, love old documentaries. However I hope for the day when people will start ignoring borders, cutting military budget and increasing research and education. We need to pool our resources for greater things and free people up to experience all cultures.

  • of course not

  • If this 1944 video is used to substantiate the claim that Tibet is a part of the PROC then that means the same argument could be used to say that Taiwan is not a part of China

  • @gaiusscipio during ww2, taiwan was under japanese rule. the video is actually very factual for its time period.

  • @eastern2western huh? don't get u mate. no ones disputing that. i'm talking about something entirely different

  • SHE IS THE VOICE OF HER PEOPLE REBIYE KADEER SPEAKS THE TRUTH THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS THANKS TO HER

FREE Xinjiang FREE tibet DO NOT STOP YOUR NOBLE COURSE LONG LIVE FREEDOM DOWN WITH CHINA

  • Is it possible anywhere to view the whole series of the movie? really impreesive! thanks for sharing!

  • @michigofang the title is Why we fight the battle of china

  • This film also suggests Mongolia (inner and outer) is part of China, although it had no actual control over it.

  • the Americans needed Tibetan Permission to transport war supplies across to China..which they didnt get!! If Tibet was part of China why does an ally of the chinese need permission from a third party!!!!!

  • tenzay, exactly. moreover, washington's betrayal of tibet almost split the allies. london, ottawa, canberra and wellington were all outraged at washington's volte face. it was a combination of lhasa's refusal to allow arms transport and washington's desperation to incorporate china into the allied fold.

this frank capra war-propaganda film served to lay out u.s. foreign policy for a post-war u.s. dominated world, a declaration of intentions disguised in a documentary style, ala lili riefenstahl

  • @tenzay07 funny how its UNTRUE

  • this is when china was an american allie, its a pretty good propaganda

  • Can I know what this film is called??

    It looks really good!!

    我可不可以知道這個電影就什麼名字?

    看上去非常好!!!

  • WWII - Why We Fight - The Battle Of China 1/10 (1943)

  • frank capra was hired todo a war-time propaganda film. this is the result. u.s. needed chinese cooperation to defeat the japanese and also to serve as a counter-weight to u.s.s.r. in a post-war world. tibet was the price for cooperation. u.s., brit, canadian and aussie intelligence all reported to their respective state depts. that tibet was, for all practical purposes, independent.

btw, i think this film was done in 1942, not 1944

  • This prestigious film series was made by Capra, at that time a major in the US Army Signal Corps, in answer to an order from the Army Chief of Staff, General George C. Marshall

  • please tell me ur sources, i'd love to see them...

  • love the national anthem of PRC played in the beginning of this film, as always

  • at that time, shitty PRC did not even exist in the world. ROC is China.

  • YY伤智,好自为之。

  • because all the reasonable people in the world think it'd be destructive for racist religion fundamentalists haters like you to run a place. oh well, u don;t have the power, the history, the moral high ground to really do anything abt it anyway so dream on.

  • Wonna be independent? Get up and fight, but please don't fcuk me with your filthy mouth.

  • Comment removed

  • yankees r acting tough online as e-thug. ROFL, u dont even dare to attack a Chinese in real life. feel safe to hide behind ur screen right? albino scums r pathetic

  • Okay maybe you aren't a religious fundamentalist, but there's no mistake that you're a racist douchebag. I think you're just intimidated by the Chinese or more specifically the Han. And the Hans being the most parasitic? Really? Remember slavery? Colonialism? In fact Western Europe has all this prosperity today because of slave labor and plundering their colonies and when those were bled dry were left to their own devices. Wow dude, talk about pulling labels out of one's ass.

  • Lets see, you people are made of stupid monks, slaves and thugs like you, do you need any more explaination? Guess even your tiny bird brain will understand this logic.

  • I miss the old America when their medias were not so shitful and had respect for other cultures.

  • @briarsuchsuch

Is your statement only based on this one war propaganda movie? Back then they made racist cartoons about Japanese, and as they used asian stereotypes, I would think that you would be offended too. And the portrayal of chinese immigrants in the media back in those days wasn't really politically correct either.

  • @QuintusSecundus exactly, well said! America has just as much idea as thinking Diaoyu belonged to Japan.

  • 我苦难的中国啊!

  • WOW!

YES! TIBET IS PART OF THE CHINA UNION.

Its always been within the borders of control throughout many dynasties(Han and non-Han)

WESTERNS stop stoking fire. the peaceful people are corrupted by the ignorant westerns & celebreties who stirred & caused unrest in a place THEY AND THEIR FAMILIES are far from.

so irresponsible and cruel are armchair politicians & protesters!!

  • Yes, because if you can't trust 1944 government video, who can you trust? Journalists? Historians? Why don't be silly.

  • 1944 video with the Chinese PRC national anthem. This national anthem sounds good, too bad its little short.

  • In 1944 the PRC didn't even exist!

  • You're right. It was ROC and before that there was Qing Dynasty etc.

  • only one word> Wooooow!

  • very nice video about china.

  • I think most Zang ethnic minorities (Tibetans) activists, living outside of their motherland, China and a small number inside China, including a small minority of Western sympathisers have realized that they have lost a lot of respect in the International Communities today. The disruptions of the Olympic Torch, The Beijing Games, The riots in Lhasa, Xizang (Tibet) province of China in March 2008, and many other disruptive demonstrations had been condemn by people worldwide. Peace to the world.

  • I agree

  • How dare they dislike being repressed!

  • Tibet is Free.

    Free Tibet = Lie

West Media = Distortion + Propaganda

Remember the Australian tourist Mike Smith who escaped the violent riot in March as reported widely in the west? If you look into Mike Smiths background, he is far from an innocent tourist, and you can find that he is a activist heavily involved in the Free Tibet Campaign as early as April 2003. So why did the west media call him a tourist and conveniently omitted his close connection with Free Tibet?

  • Republic of China stamp shows clearly that Tibet, Sinkiang and Mongolia were parts of China! No other country stamp shows this at all! No debate on that stamp at all at that time! Apparently, it was part of China but Republic of China. Anyhow, it is a Chinese province. No need to argue! Even if Communist China collapses, it is still land of Chinese people, a group of 50+ tribes!

  • Why people do not mention Tibet was part of the Republic of China (still China) from 1911 to 1949? Western world just saw Tibet as a reinforce region to India but it does not mean it is British land! Just buy a US published world stamp catalog or book. you will see that Tibet and sinkiang and mongolia were all part of the Republic of China! This clearly shows that these areas were China's lands at that time! Western side and China do not want to say the fact that Tibet is part of Taiwan!

  • Poor China... always get bullied. I hope the karma will come, one day when UK, USA and soviet are the poorest countries of all.

I can see all these coming. Their currencies are not as strong as b4. lolz

  • if china is pro US like in 1944 against the japanese, they wouldnt even bother spreading properganda about tibet or sudan.

This how this world works, no real justices, just reaction based on allies, and benefits.

And the people? 70% of them are dumbasses, they dont think, they just listen and goes : free tibet, or bomb iran, or free dafur, or privatise health care, or fight terrorisum. How sad.

  • China now are reckoned as mainland which is People's Reublic of China),you know what PRC need now is democracy. And Taiwan(Republic of China) didn't give up the sovereignty on Mongolia which is another democratic authority of china. So China is the only country which hasn't been unified so far, that's not called a nation. Now she's even facing being divided.

  • I mean the only big(great historical) country hasn't been unified.

  • lol...why not just make your statement even more specific. "China is the only country named China that hasn't been unified with of its holdings it acquired during imperial expansion".

Only then might you be correct.

Your statement absolute idiocy. Pick up a history book some day. Read it. Watch great empires evaporate till they are currently just little stubs of their former glory. Then go beat your own ass for being such an ignorant fool.

  • dont worry Tibet will get its referendum on independence i guess in less than 35 years when 70% of the pop will be Han ethnic. Its a question of right timing.

  • wow...cool propaganda movie. very nice to see how they twisted the facts

  • I had to leave a Tibetan Buddhist Temple when the "nonviolent Tibetan Lama there praised the Japanese for bombing Shanghai and killing innocent people and calling the men, women and children cowards for running to safety. This was really shocking to me!

  • Seeing from the high of history, instead of demonize other country, spliting families among brothers and sister of a nation, stir up conflict among different ethnic groups, isn't it more productive for all to focus on improve the living stardard of the poor of all nations? helping those whom are in needed? help those whom are suffering from natural disaters.. promote education, build schools, seek for world peace. ..the list goes on. Love not hate not demonize other to pull the world together.

  • the music in the beginning is the current national anthem of china

  • Yes...that anthem was created in 1930s. It was a theme anthem in a Chinese movie that called up Chinese to fight against imperial Japan.

When CCP founded PRC in 1949, they used it as the national anthem.

It is interesting that a US film in 1944 also used this anthem.

  • it's amazing that in 1944 US thought tibet was a part of china but then funded Tibet independence since the late 50s.

the only reason for the change in position:

in 1944 "China" was the pro-US ROC but in the 50s the "China" was the pro-Russia PRC.

    Cold War it is!

  • lol, that's a propaganda film from ww2.

watch the propaganda films about the iraq war these days and you know it's worth.

  • I think this was made when they thought that the KMT would win. But they made a miscalculation.

  • holy shit! wow how some westerners are so ill informed

  • Fantastic! The US shooting its own foot. All because China is now its economic rival. How sad . . . .

  • UK soviet US all trying to torn China up since ww2

Soviet succesfully seperated outer mongolia, US too seperated taiwan, but UK failed to seperate tibet

go learn history, american protect taiwan from mainland attack even it was china's civil war, soviet wants a buffer zone because they thought china was going to be capitalist under KMT, (but KMT failed and fled taiwan)

  • and tibet was a buffer zone for india which was than a british colony

  • It was never a British colony, they invaded it though but the Qing demanded it back.

  • Powa2 is correct. Dalai Lama has been lying to western world for 50 years...

  • @VochinaOrg pure propaganda from CPC, brainwashing chinese and worlds people.

  • @panzooka So you think the US was trying to torn (tear up) China in WW2? Why don't you mention the fact that the US was fighting with the KMT against Japan? Maybe they don't teach you that part of history in Mainland China? If your government was doing a better job then maybe it could have solved the Taiwan issue peacefully. PRC needs to stop blaming its problems on other countries.

  • The map has mongolia included in!

So sad we lost it... but hope they will do well on thier own.

  • Yes, it is sad that we lost Mongolia, but the encouraging news is that the Mongolia parliment has been debating rejoining China for the past a few years. Hope something is going to happen down the road.

  • Hi Zhujunxxx, where did you get the message? I think we still need to do a lot better to let them come back. :-)

    But yes, we will.

  • can you upload the rest of the movie? it is a great movie, i want to watch it and show it to my friends. thanks!

  • You may search "Battle of China" on internet. THere are some websites to offer the donwlaod.

I think this 1944 film is free for downloading, as its copyright has expired a long time ago.

  • @ZhuJunxxx Really? I've never heard anything about that, my friend work in Ulan Bator for a few years and he also never heard this. Maybe some minority Han party in Pariliament, but you have to remember, that bascially means nothing, Mongolia is multi party Democracy unlike China so a small number of government people can "debate" about it, it's totally different than a representative of the CCP announcing something which they would only do if there is widespread support for it in the CCP.

  • a Very Pro China film

Yes Tibet is a part of china

    chinese people should watch this

  • 【Broken Newz】: Dalai Corporation will make an expected 23 million dollar revenue this year due to the booming demand of T-back, T-bag, and To-bed products!

To show the company's compassion, every protestor will get a free massage by the serfs.

Finally, the Dalai Corporation can payoff the million dollar debt borrowed from CIA since 1964.

    PropagandaTV, Washington, April 35, 2008

  • Then why are you sitting here? Why don't you go free it?

  • Why would I be in China? I'm not born in China or from China. So you telling you are a confuse sissy?

  • Right.

  • yes right.. Probably the only thing we can agree on. Anyone that has different point of views are automatically Chinese? Everyone in the west thinks the same, act the same, and can't be objective. I wonder what that remind me of.

  • Sorry- that was a sarcastic right- I'm afraid we agree on nothing, especially your stereotyping of people in the "West".

  • I never stereotyping anyone.

sarcasm ""Everyone in the west thinks the same, act the same, and can't be objective.""sarcasm

I guess my sarcasm didn't work.

  • There was the good old day when China was the allied of the US.

    Not anymore.

  • US still label Tibet as in China. There is no independent Tibet, keep dreaming! Tibetans don't need exiles and their supporters.
