Brings back a few for me too; I was going out with my best mate's sister, but my being in the Navy was a bit much for a 16-y-o girl to cope with at the time, so she found someone who could be with her more often.
Found out a couple of years back that she'd committed suicide by OD-ing after a nasty divorce - shame, she was such a lovely wench.
Try finding her Uglybug48. Try... My Life. It's the best place to search for someone. I did, but have not had the guts to contact him. He told me in a text that he had found the girl who made him happy. She told me not to contact him - I let them get on with their life and not long after i heard he got married. Broke my heart... but that's life!

Now this really does bring back memories. Forty years ago, while this song was in the charts, I eloped with my first love. We never managed to get married but this song never fails to remind me of her. I have always wondere what became of her.
