  • @camius1 No need, I have my own warm up to do and progress with. The stuff I do in general is a lot more dynamic than calisthenics, so planche push ups won't be a sensible warm up; if I'm going to be jumping around, climbing or even doing flips. I don't think these will ever be my warm up, it's like doing 100m sprints for your warm up.

  • If by blunt you mean short....then I would like you to know that those planche pushups require a lot of strenght, and at beats bodyweight (220) its very impressive and not blunt at all.
