@camius1 No need, I have my own warm up to do and progress with. The stuff I do in general is a lot more dynamic than calisthenics, so planche push ups won't be a sensible warm up; if I'm going to be jumping around, climbing or even doing flips. I don't think these will ever be my warm up, it's like doing 100m sprints for your warm up.
@JustElijah he might be warming up for a planche workout...youre not doing what he's doing....Its like warming up for a 100m race by punching a heavy bag.....-___-

If by blunt you mean short....then I would like you to know that those planche pushups require a lot of strenght, and at beats bodyweight (220) its very impressive and not blunt at all.
Oh YEAH!!!!!! Thats as fast as Jorden Jotchev does it. (One of the best in the world on rings in gymnastics.) And he is probably only 5'3 and 135lbs. Thats intense man. Right on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
