Each time I listen to this wonderful rendition of the Canadian National Anthem I miss Canada so much.. I was in Canada in May and it's been a lifetime experience for me. Warm hearted people, beautiful land and a perfectly organized country. Although I am not Canadian I felt like home everywhere. I feel really lucky that I have been there and I wish I could return soon.

Europe was over populated and to clean up the streets the authorities rounded up all the homeless beggars and put them on coffin ships heading for the Americas. The one who lived the journey was give land and taught how to farm. But first they had to kill the natives. It was the rich Europeans who financed all this and put the beggars to work. Even to date homeless people find a home in Canada while natives struggle.

I'm Chinese-Canadain! I was born in China, learned chinese there, move to Canada when I was 7, learned english here, and then they also made us learn french in school. I love Canada and China! And thanks to Canada, I'm now tri-lingual, which I'm pretty proud about ;) Great country, and beautiful anthem

i come from Hong Kong which was a british territory in far east asia. however, it's now occupied by bloody communist China. i am proud of being subject of HM & British empire. i hope all of u, i beg all members of British empire. defeat China and take back Hong Kong. although we Hongkongers are ethnic Chinese but also British national!! we were educated by british, we have british core value!!

Cette chanson avait originalement été écrite en français pour célébrer la journée des Canadiens français et cette journée devint à l'Époque la St-Jean Baptiste. Cette hymne à été retravaillé et traduit dans les 2 langues officiels du pays et devint l'hymne national d'une nation complète.

@ammarios She does NOT consider herself Canadian. She was born in Belgium, and I read an interview in which she said "My passport says "Canadian", but in my heart, I am Italian" (her mother's Italian).

@ammarios OK, forget the passport. I repeat: she said "...but IN MY HEART, I am Italian". That's the key phrase, "in my heart". Again, she was born elsewhere, therefore not truly Canadian. But yes, a fine singer.

J'aime très bien la version par Lara Fabian! Pendant les Jeux Olympiques d'Hiver à Vancouver, j'ai chanté O Canada quelques fois quand le Canada a gagné les médailles d'or. Je sais les paroles de l'hymne nationale du Canada plus que ça des États-Unis. J'aime le Canada et les canadiens. The True North strong and free!

J'aime pas particulièrement Lara Fabian, mais là. Wow ! C'est une interprétation digne de la grandeur du pays. Sa voix est superbe et le phrasé donne un aspect particulier à notre hymme nationnal. Bravo c'est réussi.

Salut à toi compatriote Canadien, je te rassure le Québec et le Canada sont ensemble pour toujours. Il n'y a aucune raison pourquoi le Québec devrait se séparer de son pays le Canada. On ne peut se séparer de nous même, moi je suis sur qu'on parle encore Français à cause de notre pays. Moi je suis reconnaissant envers mon pays où mes enfants peuvent grandir en sécurité et où la qualité de vie est exceptionnelle.

Je suis Français. Je suis actuellement en échange au Canada... Je suis tombé amoureux de ce pays! Je n'attends qu'une chose : pouvoir y vivre et surtout changer de nationalité!
La France n'a pas ce petit truc qui fait vibrer à l'intérieur de soi, qui fait que l'on est fier de ses couleurs, qu'on a envie de défendre ce pays... Tout cela je l'ai trouvé ici, au Canada!
Et je ne parle pas des paysages qui sont à couper le souffle!

Cette version de l'hymne canadien est absolument magnifique.
Lara Fabian prouve une fois de plus qu'elle est une chanteuse, une vraie et elle rend un hommage plein de force à ce doux pays qui l'a adopté il y a quelques année.

Je ne juge en aucun cas ton pays, je suis parti au canada et c'était très beau, je me suis pas aventurer dans les terres anglophones (à part Toronto) et j'ai été choqué non déçu de leur niveau de français, pour moi ne pas maîtriser la langue de l'autre minoritée est une forme de mépris, sache que la France est aussi un pays avec une multitude de communauté. la FRA je l'aimerai TOUJOURS avec tout c'est défauts parce que c'est le pays de mon père et j'en suis fier
