Only the slightly more lively approach to the execution of the note gives it some slight identity different from every other harpsichordist like Leonhardt was playing it decades ago. Pierre has no original concept for Bach... just more predictable long ungestural and uncolorful long objective lines which never surprise... unlike his Frescobaldi which breathes and has a distinct view. The conservatory trained reviewers will applaud his perfectly enthusiastic conformity... meanwhile I snore.
