@bratzcortney I didn't get smart, I just told you if you NEED music, you could look for it yourself. Piano music is in the same clef as the flute, so it would've been possible to play on flute, you could've just asked. If you needed it to volunteer for cancer patients, I would've thought you'd be more prepared for something like that. I know I would, my grandad has cancer, so step down.

I prefer it with the plugs in, because my fingers are awkward and can't cover the holes ><

Piccolo is much easier, especially if your high notes on flute are clean. It's a LOT easier to learn piccolo first.

As for more covers, you should do more Paramore :D

Everyone says you should learn piccolo first and that you should wait a good few years but I've only been playing four years and I've never played a piccolo and I play open-hole. It’s actually quite easy, it just takes about a week to figure change your grip and the E notes can be tricky but it sounds way prettier.

@Emu132 I started out playing with a flute with covered holes around..four to five years ago. I'm thinking about transitioning to an open-holed one. Was the change difficult for you? Any tips?

@totoroiscutie Well I've had mine for over a year now, and I still haven't taken out the plugs in the holes. It's just preference really, I don't particularly like open holed cos it means you have to hold the flute exactly right to cover the holes everytime, so I've got all the plugs in except for one :D I would leave the plugs in to start with and take one out at a time, just to get used to it :))

@sokaylee You're welcome :) ummh, well you could angle the air downwards more to get a fuller sound and also if you open your throat and let the air flow more you can get a better sound. It just takes a lot of practise with embrouchure to get it best for you, sorry I can't be of more help :)
