Great song. Reminds me of the early Kinks. I grew up in VS in the 60s. I go back there occassionally. Its still a great place. As for the "Valley" and the "Stream"...How about the creek that (used to at least) run between Emerson Place and Cornwell Ave?

i graduated from VS SOUTH in 77. growing up there the 60's and 70's was great, it was like Mayberry. NOW it's like Niggberry. First they ruined Rosedale and now Valley Stream. The place is turning into a shithole. Too bad. Soon I'll be off Long Island with my family.
