Think the key difference between then and now is that back then they were relevant with this album. Now they're just part of big money spinning pop "culture" churning out "music" that the masses just consume irrespective of how good it really is. I'm just saying...
did'nt like this track too tough at first.. Then the video grew on me in 98. Then i though it was dope. Come to find out it was on the bulworth soundtrack i had.. gave it crazy airplay. Everything after Fergie came was that old bullshit.. Hey mister DJ was a nice joint too along with the DJ. Premier joint they had.
@sevira33 In my honest opinion everything from them starting with and after "Where Is The Love" was utter shite. But that's only my opinion. I won't judge the millions who still like the music I don't like. There's no such thing as un-music or absolute bad music, there's just organised noise – called music.
I remember hearing this song back in 98. The band stopped over to our campus that year and I almost went to it. I really wish I went to it, though this was like the only song I ever heard from them at that time.
when i heard these guys on the radio years after i used to listen to this album i couldn't believe it was the same group. their older stuff is much better. not all poppy n shit.
why not show pics of the group around the time this album came out, give the good memories of this group, and not mix the good (music) with the bad (Fergie era BEP photos)
awesome..too bad they switched to the dark side
