That Voice!!!! I have been an Engelbert fan since the early 70's. Saw him many times in concert and met him a few times backstage. He is exactly how he appears, handsome beyond beleif and one of the best singers I've ever saw!!! He's alot older now but I will always remember him as this goddess man with the most incredible voice!

This is from Vesti La Guibbia - Pagliacci Caruso sang this .....the melody is the same, the words, the meaning is the same. The power in Engelbert's voice is even better than Enrico Caruso ( if you listen to oneof his recordings, of course, sound and recording was not all that great. I always pictured Engelbert doing something like that on a Broadway stage. I will settle for this recording, as it is the best version as far as I am concerned.

I saw Engelbert at the Proctors Theatre, Schenectady NY in Early 2007. Although he definitely shows signs of aging, his voice is still very strong and melodic.
