  • Another great Ella Fitzgerald and the Ink Spots song. I have a few songs from this era on my channel but it is still in early stages. What kind of record player/Gramaphone do you use?

  • @MBM1117727 Dual CS 5000, Saba PSP 350 and an old philips record player from the fifties.

    regards

  • one of the best songs i heard in my life:-___

  • Five second films brought me here ♥

  • The 2 greatest singers of all time. I remember listening to Ella all day everyday when I was 6 years old! Still my favorite.

I love it when Bill comes in at 00:54. So perfect!

  • My word...what a gem you've uploaded here! Thank you very much! =)

  • This is just,

    I mean

    Greatest Quality I've ever heard!

  • Why in lords name aren't songs having this same type of love in their songs?

Oh wait, they do but in a more aggresive and "Popular" tone.

  • I really enjoy this song. I didn't know about the Ink Spots until I played Falout. Since then I listen to them all the time. I love old timey music. Thank you for this. :D

  • @jimthedestroyer08 agreed, haha. thanks to Fallout i have, and will continue to listen to them well into the future.

  • Goodness, this is really clear quality! It's like as if this was made recently.

  • @JLCL01 Thanks.

This 78 was like new. Usally 78 were played with grammophones that used 100- 500 ponds. That's why you hear often backround noise or crackle. If a 78 is unplayed I think it's even reach Hi-Fi quality.

  • Always though it was interesting that Herb Kenny played the Cello like a stand-up bass. Great song.

  • Herb Kenny was only pretending he didn't played bass. It was Orville "Hoppy" Jones who played bass and played the cello like a bass. I think it was a distinctive feature

of the ink spots playing the cello like a bass. The Bass singer after Herb Kenny did it like Herb Kenny it was Adriel McDonald. But if you want to get more information visit a The Ink Spots site " inkspots dot ca"

    regards

    Bill
