Another great Ella Fitzgerald and the Ink Spots song. I have a few songs from this era on my channel but it is still in early stages. What kind of record player/Gramaphone do you use?
I really enjoy this song. I didn't know about the Ink Spots until I played Falout. Since then I listen to them all the time. I love old timey music. Thank you for this. :D
This 78 was like new. Usally 78 were played with grammophones that used 100- 500 ponds. That's why you hear often backround noise or crackle. If a 78 is unplayed I think it's even reach Hi-Fi quality.
Herb Kenny was only pretending he didn't played bass. It was Orville "Hoppy" Jones who played bass and played the cello like a bass. I think it was a distinctive feature
of the ink spots playing the cello like a bass. The Bass singer after Herb Kenny did it like Herb Kenny it was Adriel McDonald. But if you want to get more information visit a The Ink Spots site " inkspots dot ca"

The 2 greatest singers of all time. I remember listening to Ella all day everyday when I was 6 years old! Still my favorite.
I love it when Bill comes in at 00:54. So perfect!

Always though it was interesting that Herb Kenny played the Cello like a stand-up bass. Great song.
