It was his spring-summer 2000 collection called "Eye"...it was the Islamic presentation with the burkhas, caftans, niqabs, etc. It was shown in NY, of all places.
Before the acrobatic display at the end of the show, models walked around a pool of railroad spikes. In terms of the most memorable McQueen shows, it's up there.
