im a first time grower in the aero garden and have found that it surprisingly works quite well. in not shore of the strain of the plant but i have just based my grow around things ive read on the internet. its been 3 mounths now and ive just started the flowering stage. i found that once you have two sets of fully developed leaves you start the flowering stage that it suits the hight of the aero garden perfectly.i will post a movie if people want to see.

In fact if you are using AG's the best way is to transplant them after the roots get about 3 to 4 inches long and install an air pump although the system delivers oxygen thru the water the roots of cannibus just simply grow way too fast and big with water but for starter systems AG's are the best but even with air they will rot your roots

I yield just under a half pound dry with my aero garden but I did rigging and only use aero lights for veg then switch to a 430w HPS and its no differnt then any other system in fact its better due to oxygen in the water but in relation to size you do a lot of pruning to coax vertical growth

depending on ur set up, its pretty easy, pour in enough to fill 80 percent of ur pot witch shud be around 8x8 inches or bigger, and be careful with ur water supply dont flood, get a nice ventilation, its weed u cant fuck up. dont use harsh chemicals, use a basic nutrient and stick to it use as little as possible and dolute with ruffly 2 cups of water then pour it in.

One- Nute deficiencys,a plant lacking phosphorous will turn purple

Two- Cold Weather, the hormone that shows purple from nute deficiency also acts as antifreeze when the plant starts to get cold, or thinks its getting cold (a bigger swing in night time day time temps)

Three- Genetics, Some plants genetically produce the purple hormone because it has a parent that was climatically adjusted to a cold weather scene

Just got my AeroGarden Deluxe. Its super quiet, the Light Arm extends to 2 feet, and I think you can get extensions. The only seeds I had on hand were White Rhino and Red Dragon, so I popped those in. Just experimenting as of now, but I'll learn as I go. AeroGarden Deluxe is superb. Small enough to hide and still run, quiet as hell, I dont hear that thing ever, and it just looks sik. Especially with some precious herb growin..

Im tellin ya. You need to get a better light source and make sure those roots have enuff room to grow. These aero gardens make plants look sick and not much yeild. I think it just needs better lighting and proper nutes.

I agree, the grower isn't running enough light in this growroom, the internodes could be a lot tighter than this, the plants are somewhat stretched, which really isn't a good thing, especially with lowryder, I grew my LR's out under a 400w HPS setup, and the plants only grew to 12cm, but you can see that your LR's are stretching out, and are quite branchy to, I imagine that your harvest from these plants wasn't very good... I got an average of 18grammes per plant when I grew them out..

This strain is Lowryder, Lowryder is an Auto-Flowering strain, meaning it doesn't require 12/12 light/dark cycles to flower, it flowers automatically once it reaches a certain size, and will grow and flower under continuous light... research it..

Also, you cannot keep a mother plant from LR strain because they only flower once and can't be regenerated, (cont)

I grew out the original lowryder when it was first released by the Joint Doctor some years ago now, and te smoke was mediocre compared to the other strains I was growing at the time, the only good thing about it was the fact that it grew from seed to bud in 8 weeks, so it was good to have a couple of them growing along side your main crop so you had some weed to smoke while waiting for your main harvest to finish up...

tony here in aussie, i bought one of these things and im using hybird aussie skunk seeds and its not that great. it works yea, but it is painfully slow, even after using Canna PK 13-14 as a flowering nutrient, and DutchMaster Groissance A&B. Those two are the best on the market and with a 660W I can grow to maturity in 4 weeks, but so far with the AG im at 5 weeks and my plants are just now shooting the 2nd row, so my advice is if ur trying to learn or you dont mind waiting buy the AG mate!!

dude those setups are for small herb gardens. yes they are a great setup and all but the amount of plants is way to many for the space that amount of space and light allows for 1 small plant. in a full 10x10 room with 8 plants in it and 2 1000w hps lights u can expect around 2 to 2 and a half ounces per plant in a 3 month cycle from seed. and thats in 60L hydro pails. You got no room for branching in those small aero gardens.

yes more N for the vegitative stage at least. then more P for flowering. i use the aerogarden too and found that putting an air pump in the tank helps a lot. Do not use the aerogarden nutrients. they keep the PH level but it doesnt have enough N for this plant. get some miracle grow 30-10-10 for the vegitative stage and rose food (high in P)for the flowering stage. good luck!

You can plant normal seeds that you get with your own shit, but unless it's a strain, or really good shit, it's nearly not worth it. It's a good idea to start with bullshit, before you purchase good seeds online or something. Special seeds are just a big expensive to be not growing anything, you'd go broke!
